  3. hi Guys, theyve been working well for me....i believe they used to be just a directory like the free, arb talk, yell type ones. where people have to find you in a directory then choose you over the other 100 listed in your area but i get texts with enquiries sent to my mobile.only six tree surgeons allowed per post coded area..been a member for 2 months ish now had 7 texts and 4 jobs have come of it. granted 2 small ones just conifer removals but the two large jobs have paid the £150 i paid for 6 months. they even did me a one page web site and manage it for 2 yrs in that price just for coming on board with them. i'd been quoted £350 with the domain name from a company...

Qoute :"Members of staff as well volunteers from the general public will be trained in the collection of the data required, which will focus on such areas as the number and age of trees, species, spacing and their health." Members of the public deciding on tree health?????? any opinions?? what training will they be given?
  8. for a mega boost i normally have a cheapo energy drink with a berroca dropped in.......it gives me more than wings!!!
  9. Thanks Paul, and of course you are a little protective of your flock, they will retire one day you know!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t want to be the expert witness defendant for the national trust; I was thinking more of Tree Preservation Order applications, Tree inventory (gps) surveying & BS5837 planning application supporting documentation. In England, or Wales for that matter you would search on Google for “tree consultant” rather than “tree surgeon” , would you not? cheers
  10. OTISS - Online Tree Survey and Management System can be used on smart phone all data stored on the web £150.00 per year membership this might help??
  11. How much do you guys know about doing tree reports?? I was thinking of having a try at Tree Consultants Directory - Tree consultants, Tree consultancy, Arboriculture, Arborist, Tree survey, Tree report, Tree inspection, Tree advice, Tree work, BS5837, BS3998, Tree services, Treecare but i am a little nervous about putting a profile up I used to do tree assessment in New Zealand, but I am a little unsure of when you can say you are a consultant in the uk What is the definition of tree consultant in the UK apart from the professional indemnity for it
  12. I think this too may be an interesting case when it gets to court, I had not come across this sad death before, but it sounds like a procedural case rather than an actuality Conservation group charged over gardener's tree death - Edinburgh Evening News
  13. agree with you there steve.........i wanna be the middle seat haha
  14. cheers Paul, might have a look at doing it!
