  5. my two cents worth: i'd leave the big limb on, tis 1/3 of the crown on the right side as you look at it, gone is it possible to give it a good crown lift, can't really tell from the pics?
  6. i'll let the trees do the talking:thumbup: there are loads more to come and some for the decay thread too but i'm on my mum an dads rather slow computer at mo

  8. as stated, i've got this one so i'll pass but i can recommend it as a good read:thumbup:
  9. yes i suppose the incentive is there to try before you buy, from personal experience i like to read a book (or at least scan it) to the point of where i think it will benefit me actually buying it. Having a six week loan is enough of a time for someone (IMO) to make the decision on whether its worth saving pennies for:thumbup:
  10. yes, but i'm always slow on the uptake usually of first up, first gets:blushing: so i baggsy the second one:lol: so far, i'm loving matthecks book, lots to learn and digest, takes a few times before it sticks:thumbup:
  11. hama how could you ignore janey like that, tsk tsk:lol:
  12. some of the moorland places i've been to and seen are absolutely gorgeous places when all the heather blooms its bright purple colours in contrast with the deep green grasses! and not a tree in sight:biggrin:
  13. this the sort of thing your after? Pear Technologies Digiterra PocketGIS Arbortrack Arborsite google them, coz i think each one is different with all having pro's and con's

  15. would love to but family and education commitments mean i can't at the mo, maybe in the future!
  16. Haha rob, come on admit it, you are her biggest fan:001_wub:
  17. I thought it was an aesculus:blushing:
