  1. it grows sideways too:lol: awesome stuff:thumbup:
  2. the graft is the lowest branch heading off to the right
  3. Only took me two years to get the pcture i said i would:blushing: this is right on the busy a580 and the "graft looks" a lot younger than the tree:confused think the sneaky:sneaky: grafting elf was up to some trickery with this one
  4. i'm 32 and my memory is shocking:lol:
  5. looks like the red weed from war of the worlds!
  6. i want to change things:blushing: but i've got a long way to go:thumbup:

  8. ooo i'm a superstar! never expected that haha
  9. as long as you put the time and effort into reading the information that they give PLUS the extra needed on top as well you should be fine i've been told though the second year is much tuffer (tougher)
  10. nope its online, but you need to have a modulator (friend/neighbour/witness) who can say that you've done the exam in the allotted time without cheating i did it in me kitchen whilst a neighbour ( i know and trust as he's an ex teacher) sat in my living room watching telly:thumbup:
  11. nooooooo:sneaky2: i'm just "online" you happen to be in the same place or is it a case of he doth protest too much:blushing:
  12. majority of assessment are assignments, i have done one exam (last year) and several "short tests" in each module and with me doing it online all the "practical stuff" is done by the students attending the college and we get the methods and results thoroughly documented for us to read
  13. "One possible drawback to the trees is that they have a dense canopy and the roots release chemicals into the soil, which inhibits other plants growing around them – so walnuts need plenty of space." Allelopathy at work:biggrin: Nice article:thumbup:
  14. i started last year ( the FdSc online arb degree ) at myerscough, just about to finish my first year. I paid £1400 and its due to go up ever so slightly but not much (apparently:thumbdown:) over the next two years the question still remains on how much it wil be if i want to carry on and get my BSc (Hons), which i do, but its whether i'll be able to afford it On the actual course though, doing it online i find both easy and difficult at the same time, easy because you have no constraints as to when you do the work as long as it gets handed in by the deadlines but hard because you have to be self disciplined to get the work done with no tutors or fellow students helping/pushing you to get it done. It can be very rewarding if you do push yourself though:thumbup:
  15. that is some skill you have there mate, top work:thumbup:
