  1. might have to try that ring with my hitch now does it "sit back" at all now with that ring in it?
  2. if YOU were born in that position would you still be complaining?
  3. i can't say i'm a fan of the royal family, each to their own but these negative comments, are they not a sign of jealousy as it wasn't you born in there position? and if you were born in their position would you distance yourself from that and become one of us "norms", somehow i don't think so! if you like then royal family then fair enough but it you only have negative things to say, whats the point? It gets peoples backs up and causes arguments over something that you as an individual have no control over what so ever I remember my wedding day and it was one of the best of my life and i hope they (william and kate) have had a thouroughly enjoyable day
  4. http://www.aie.org.uk/download/est_age.pdf could this be used to calculate the age of that tree? wonder how old it is?
  5. plus whats the point of it if you can't use it at maximum extension?
  6. nice idea but length of old throw line does me:thumbup:
  7. banbury? Shockin work, shockin...!! but thats now given me a fancy dress idea!!
  8. what royal wedding:confused1: its not a bank holiday but a public holiday, tis all in the terminology meaning some employers don't have to give their staff the day off paid (i think) or something to that effect
  9. one of my work colleagues commented on the plastic but when i showed hum properly hpw the clips work he was impressed i think? Like i sad its had 2 years battering of nearly everday (bar weekends) use, still works as good (the clips) as the day i was bought, as for the bridge strap, my kit has just been LOLER'd and it passed with flying colours i wouldn't double up but its personal preference on how safe you feel. never once nicked my kit with either the chainsaw or silky, tis all about positioning and thinking about the cut, the bridge is perfectly safe or like you say they wouldn't put it on there!!
  10. comfort - 8/10 can pinch thighs after a while but not much, back strap is really comfy functionality - 7/10 plenty tool strops but not adjustable, side d's are in good position though durability - 9/10 had mine for 3 years now, 2 years day in day out solid work, can't fault it, nothing wrong with it overall - 8/10 definatley one i would buy again (ps i have the non SRT harness but its only a couple of extra buts on it i think, and for the price (as in cheaper to the others) i can't really fault it
  11. if they weren't american i'd say it was these but... there american! maybe he's here on his holidays:thumbup:

  16. ah the one at grimsthorpe:blushing: you had me confused coz thats in lincolnshire not lancashire:lol: so i doubt you'll travel all the way from grimsthorpe in lincs to my little woodland in lancs for an advantigous root but if you do fancy it your more than welcome
  17. but it shouldn't have to be that way, red tape sucks!!!!

  19. "To address the lack of viable foliar growth about the crown it is usual to consider improving light penetration to the stem and crown by thinning and or reducing surrounding competitive growth (‘releasing’ or ‘haloing’ the tree)" thats what i said, kind of:thumbup:
  20. clearing a space around said tree from all vegetation (or to that effect, i think:blushing:)
