  17. its got a very similar bark to a young hornbeam, but the leaves, they aren't hornbeam!?
  18. the first one is Nymans eucryphia (Eucryphia x nymensensis) still working on the second one but definitely NOT persion ironwood:biggrin: have you got any better pictures of it? the spray, the leaf attachment, the twig, any other distinguishing features?
  19. don't think it is persian ironwood (P. persica), leaves and bark are both wrong IMO
