  1. They look a fun machine!
  2. I'm with Huck on this, intricate things are shoulders, & I would want to exhaust all non invasive options before going under the knife.
  3. Found an old pic of my cr500, I'm lusting after another one of these, but they seem to be fetching strong prices nowadays.
  4. My mate has a bonnie, its a nice bike, his one is basic & not blinged up & makes a really nice easy fun bike to ride.
  5. Silky is just jealous, he will be looking for a good tripod now with urgency! Like a lot of us he is a bit of a 'kit tart'!
  6. Should be ok if you keep the revs in the middle of the range, ifyour concerned get some exhaust flexi pipe & extend it upwards to clear the surface. Be careful not to let water in the air intake & electrics, muddy water plays havoc with alternators etc.
  7. Eddy T is an anagram for Teddy, in real life he is a big soft hairy thing with chewed ears!
  8. Hedgesparrow is realy a forkfinch!
  9. Top work! What a fantastic idea!
  10. Thanks a million mate, got your pm, & returned one.
  11. Sounds like you had a faulty part, hope it works out for you. The plastics are very thin on these saws, & require care in handling.
  12. How did that happen? Mine has not been babied, but seems fine.
  13. I did this too mate, thanks for the pic, made a lot of difference to how the saw runs.
  14. That's no worries mate, let me know the cost, & pm me your details so I can sort out my bit!
  15. Hey mate, that's a first, we agree on something! Looks like the chip will be early / mid next week now, but there is a job going on this week not too far off, have a word with our mutual friend, the little whirling dervish.
  16. & I'm not your Doris!
  17. Yes mate, I cut the old shell off the stub axle, slipped the new bearings in after a clean up, piece of cake& no wonky wheel! Got it done just before the rain started. It would have been great to get that job dusted Daniel, but hey ho, we will!
  18. Yep, me too, no wonder we all get scalped on our rates. I would also like a prod at the 'hire co', too many companies are having over government orgs, at our expense.
  19. +1! Had one for 4 years, never missed a beat.
  20. I have used one for a day, its a small saw, similar size to the little echo or stihl ms150. Not a bad little saw for light reduction work / hedge bashing, but you wont be doing take downs with it. They seem reliable enough, have been around for a while in one form or another, that's about it really.
  21. Iv'e been to a couple of mx practice tracks to get my hand back in again, & intend to get a few endures in soon,( bloody spellchecker wont let me spell endur o for some reason). The ktm sounds like its coming along nicely!
  22. TCD is the leed climber in Whistmans Wood.
  23. That's right mate, & it's job done on the mod. it's quite an eager bike once into the mid range:biggrin: Your advice about the handguards is spot on
  24. Bless him, he's a good man, wish him the best.
