  3. Reduces the amount of chips,but more of a pain to walk through,cut the level & then get the sides & top edges as neat as you can.

  13. I would have thought you would be pleasantly surprised with either of them. A client I have uses a stihl electric saw,and is very happy with it.I would contemplate using some form of circuit breaker,as with any electric garden equipment.
  14. A lot depends on how far to your tip site,and do you have to drag to chip,but Mick sounds about right imo.

  17. I make you right there,It's a piece of lovely kit but of no use to most of us,and would take up resources and space that we can ill afford. small narrow mewp is just about viable if you dont mind operating it outside of the arborist envelope.

  24. If they only died this year they probably arnt too worried,elm will stand for years as long as the roots are there.
