  1. I had an old v4 engined (stock motor then) ford transit.
  2. Yes mate, they are a gallon in a pint glass these dogs... You have a bloody good Christmas mate!
  3. They are fantastic dogs mate, wait till its a year or so older and see what it does when it sees a rat.
  4. Man alive, that's got to be the fattest ferret I ever saw mate:biggrin:
  5. Couldn't resist a bump on this, Billy the sh%t is 16 now, half blind and deaf, but still as sparky, he alsays did like going for the armpit or groin area, now he just snoozes to the nutcracker suite.... Bless him!
  6. That will be interestin, bet it will need a carb adjust to run well. post results if you will.
  7. I would give good money to see Felix the whopper on one with the throttle wired open....
  8. You could pick up and haul so big butt's with one of them Jon:biggrin:
  9. Mines an air arms s410, the scope I can't remember, but it's a nice rifle for the money, and easy to tweak.
  10. Not had any experience with them, I will be interested to hear the results. I'm using .22, and it is,erm, right on the limit, and is a good bunny stopper with a head shot out at 45yard or so.
  11. Personal choice jon, the 177 will have a flatter trajectory, but less hitting power, and might be more prone to windage.
  12. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but I would say a nice shape indeed, the less you take out on some reductions the harder it is on the climber, good work I say.
  13. That's cruel of you Felix, leave the lass alone...
  14. If it was just one saw I could buy into it having a fault, but two, with the same symptoms suggests there is human error involved somewhere, I would take the saws to a different saw tech and get them looked at, and tuned correctly, they are not rocket science, just a carb fed two stroke.
  15. My two are faultless, I'm using aspen, your problem sounds like fuel starvation or a leen running issue, we're the saws like it from new, or did the issue develop over time?
  16. Have no fear, cost will be prohibitive amongst other things, and mums net would campaign against it anyway!
  17. Good strong saw, as is the husky 3120, but they are a lump to use for a long period, the husky 395 is a more practical everyday saw.
  18. Jon, your 'coming out' skills are less than subtle, but I hope it feels liberating none the less... Get Wayne to shave your back while he's there:001_huh:
  19. The echo 390 is a pro saw, and a very nice one at that, if it is big enough for you it is a good choice, as it's light, easy to use, and a brisk saw in the cut. Having said that, for 500 smackers you have a fair choice, nice of the misses to treat you so choose wisely.
  20. That looks a lovely truck, get the surface rust treated and I think you are onto a winner there. I'm not sure what year it was they amended first gear so it was lower, if yours falls into that bracket it is a plus point. Mine is an 07, and it works hard being a tipper, and tows very well apart from tall first gear. Steering boxes can get play in them but can be adjusted, though a fiddle to get at. If you buy it, drop all transmission fluids and replace, I do mine every 6000 miles and it is as fresh as a daisy. Rear leaf springs can sag, and are known to be a weak point, but good aftermarket ones are not too expensive.
