  1. Maybe because the christians,( or any faith for that matter), feel an affinity towards each other,no worries there imo, also nowadays they are in a minority,as are most faiths, that will always encourage those with faith to seek out & recognise each other. If I see in my travels another who has a similar interest to me I will if possible touch base & say hello, isnt that why we are all on arbtalk? Its human nature I think.

    346 or 550?

If it is to be your main saw then the above makes a lot of sense to me,especialy if you already like the 346xp,I love mine.
  3. You could try using a munter hitch on a crab atatched to you bridge underneath your blakes if its a bit jumpy, heres a link. Munter Hitch - How to tie a Munter Hitch
  4. Thats interesting Huck,I have a field I use for my chip & log store,I have had previous with the council over this, (someone moaned),ignored it all,& it all died a death, that bit of trouble was over 12 years ago. I have planted up some small areas with fruit trees & a few oaks,& willow in the lower areas. Had no contact with the powers that be for years now, other than getting the tree officer over there to tpo an oak on the boundry that was under threat,& used that as a litmus test to see if they kicked off again about my nefarious activities.
  5. Surely the hardening/tempering process is a big part in how long a file will last?
  6. I will give them another call in the morning & see if they have got the others back yet,& make sure you get the return pair asap. Sorry for the size mixup:blushing:
  7. Thats great news on your counciling Predator.
  8. Congratulations,I think! Hope it all goes well for you in the future, sounds like it will if you tow the line.

    Check this out

    Haha,funny one that!
  10. Great video, those are two cracking horses, they looked in superb condition!
  11. Spud, try selotapeing a bit of greasproof paper,or one skin of toilet paper (white) over the flash with these close ups, knocks the highlights out & difuses the flash to even it out. A bit of plastic milk bottle will do the job too.
  12. Realy nice designs imo,I will be having some of them.
  13. I was educated as C of E,but not bothered about it since,I respect others & their opinions.
  14. I have a 'billy goat' leaf/litter collector, not been used much, you can borrow it anytime.
  15. If the job was booked in,surely there is a breech of contract,& wonder the implications if the LA were made aware of this whilst tendering. Probably did you a favour Huck, clients like that.

But on the face of it this is not the local authority competing, this is moonlighting with LA kit surely Do the LA have a policy to aid & abet this,& is this what Carwyn Jones made his statement about....hmm:001_smile: I'm sure this is tongue in cheek humour though.
  17. Another,Shane is about blown here,but great harmonics on a powerful song; [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNX3hQbSVmM&feature=related]dirty old town - YouTube[/ame]
  18. Yep,not a 'reduction to be proud of'..., I can understand them wanting to keep it,but not for long methinks. The stone masons are having a field day over there,it was all so smashed up,& they are not covered on the church insurance,so you can imagine the trouble that can create for me going in there to clean up the trees,I was concerned about the potential for getting chased for destroying the stones even though the ones broken were cause by the initial wind damage. All in all the feedback from those who go over there to tend the individual graves,& maintain the grounds as comunity volunteers was very good, but was a tread light recovery job for me:001_smile:
  19. Heres one I love,haunting & beautiful,just like the lass singing. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dt0sXRBLfJM]Suzanne Vega - The Queen And The Soldier - YouTube[/ame]

  21. Got this job done now,it was a mess,ie; dun7 by geoff321, on Flickr This was the worst one still standing,a big old ceder,to asked for the central spar to come out as it was fubared, nice climb amongst some shattered bits but I got it down ok,not much of it left but the church want to keep this one as a temporary monument to the storm.
