  1. Threre really is nothing wrong with that oil cap....i wouldnt have any other one now- just test it before you fold the handle down. If you dont overfill then no problem!
  2. Nice one mate, ill be off down opie in the morning. The injectors are so easy to take out that i will get them down to cornwall engine company for cleaning next week probably.
  3. That explains alot. There is a guy there who is landy mad up there.
  4. John, whats that saw i was asking about, it looks like one of yours that you got when i was there......
  5. That second pic is well weird........a rear handled ms200!!!! I thought they had discontinued them LOL
  6. Great stuff mate. What is the saw pictured after the tractor.....
  7. Haha you two, very flippin funny.NOT. its a lada:lol::lol:
  8. Something like that....thats what it looked like before it was cleaned and a new head gasket fitted last night, which stopped the steam engine effect from the exhaust, but not the fuel starvation problem...That was solved with a new lift pump today (£35 no worries) and when i looked inside the old one there was about an eggcup ful of sawdust and dirt on the filter, and the operating rod had sheared off somewhere...oops. With fresh oil too, and its now running better than it has for about 12 months. Actually that is a very healthy picture other than clinder one (at the right hand end) which is shiwing signs of uneven injector spray- dirty injector possibly.
  9. Old oak gate posts that have been replaced. Its the only stuff i have fiund that makes my flue glow!
  10. I have the enviable task of 3 weeks work around Trelissick area, part of the Helford complex, thinning out sycamore beech and holly from the ancient oak.....all within spitting distance of the water. Its a continuation of a job we did last year.
  11. They are very simple mate, and a well made one such as the squirrel should be very easy to take apart....i was really worried about crackiong cast iron and forgetting how things went, but it was surprisingly simple, and that stove was one with loads of windows and fancy doors and stuff. Go for it, you'll be fine.
  12. Very sorry to hear that, how awful.
  13. P.ramorum coloured.....Actually it wqas old sap i reckon, but one wonders. I just milled it out and set fire to the slabwood.
  14. I have never heard that it is illegal. Not best practise, but certainly not illegal.
  15. I started watching it, and my internet is too slow tonight, but i shouted at the young lad in the wifebeater top who said he 'literally' couldnt get any work about 3 minutes into the program. If you really want to work in this country then you can find work, even if its washing cars for 50p a time....The benefits system needs a severe shake-up. Ill watch it all later and see if i feel the same as you lot....probably i will, i suspect..
  16. I reckon some of that last load i had had ramorum as there were some funny markings on the bark......
  17. The thread or the news Dave?
  18. Even at 435 your dealer is making a fair mark up, he will be paying somewhere around 350 i think. Laast summer i was offered one for 'cost plus a bit' from a dealer and it would have been 347, although there have been price increases from Andreas too.
  19. Cant help you mate- sorry. 2 reasons....distance, and the fact that we have milled cornwalls WRC and theres none left now down here for a year or two....
  20. Bought a second hand one from a dealer and it lasted less than a week and the dealer wouldnt honour the warranty he offered me.......a well known rogue from a town near plymouth (and its not abbey GM lol) and i was put off huskies for life, having been a stihl man before that anyway.......when i bought a 390xp a few months ago though i changed my mind.....its the nicest saw i have ever used.
