  6. I would steer well clear of the i-phone....its just a girly toy really with a crap camera for people that have been sucked into a sales pitch by apple......or am i being harsh.... I have just got an HTC HD2, and i havent had it long enoughto really make my mind up. I was going to go for the same phone as dean, having had n series nokias since they first came out, but the reliability and software issues made me look elsewhere, and ended up with HTC. The battery life is a bit disappointing, but other than that i am very pleased with it. It runs windows 6.5, and will NOT be able to be upgraded to windows 7 as it doesnt have some required hardeware, but i dont see it as a problem really. Good phone overall.
  7. Stick with the phenolic mate, it is the best thing for the job. You should run a bead of silicone where it meets the frame of the trailer, and another along the top edge when you are done.
  8. I would think that it is illegal to sac someone for having another job isnt it?
  9. Yeah we can find some monsters dotted around. Cornwall isnt known for its real biggies, but there are a few......the pic in my avatar was taken at about 135 feet, albeit on above mentioned sitka, but i think that qualifies as fairly big!
  10. I think you are right rupe.....funny vid though all the same!

  13. Yeah Tregrehan has some amazing trees. Its the home of Tom Hudson......and a very tall sitka...We measured to 140 feet, and there was about another 8 or nine feet left.
  14. Check out my oak burr if you get to Eden.
  15. Just been texted by local training provider wanting to fill a space on a course next week. Get on the plane to newquay tho as the course is in cornwall!!

  19. How do you mean- LANTRA HQ? I think that is at Stoneleigh in Warwickshire, just off the A46, where they hold (or used to) the Royal Ag Show.
  20. Yeah you have to pass through Devon to get to us mate, and being a tree bod you would do well to ctch up with Matt, or at least check out the places he has mentioned. Devon is a VERY wooded county, with lots of spectacular trees.
  21. Helford area is only about 20 mins from me. Its all beautiful. Bring your harness if you fancy climbing some biggies too.
  22. Bad luck mate. Dont worry about it. Reg summed it up best.
