  1. Hi Pete. Just a quick hello and amusing anecdote....I was at a heavy horse working day yesterday, and had a card popped under the windscreen wiper from a certain Hazel Honeybourne, a marketing director for greenmech. It made me smile at the sort of irony that i can speak direct to you. Good effort on her part tho- she must have been on holiday and noticed the landy (VERY obviously an arb truck!) so i thought i would drop you a quick message he he.

  2. Here you go dave....Timber/Plant Trailer on eBay (end time 05-Apr-10 21:03:54 BST)

  7. Absoloutely fantastic find. Such a rare sight the osprey. Heres praying (preying lol) that it makes a full recovery. Magnificent birds. Top commendations to you and the trouble..
  8. Hold on mate- that says that it will be significantly impermeable- that means it will NOT let moisture through...
  9. I like your attitude to the climber. It strikes me that there are 2 reasons for his price though...he is crap or he is a beginner...either way that is a stupid price though.
  10. Theres threads about that loader somewhere guys. Hey bobbysm- the south east one is INFINITELY better- it has actually happened!!lol
  11. I have always had stihl clear ones, as i got one then got the auto spouts, then pierced the can but kept the spouts so had another stihl etc etc. I do reckon the orange husky ones are better, but IME and what others tell me, the fillers are the mutts on the stihl.......unless you drop a lump of oak on the oil filler that someone has cut and left leaning up against the tree you are felling and it bounces and flies towards your can.......can you send me one down please justin....Ta. Oh and i promise to cross your palm with silver asap..
  12. Hello mate. Welcome. You arent far from me and a few others on here.....look out for the reccy climbing thread for southwest arbs- we are trying to sort one out at the mo.
  13. Good find, especially of interest is the last bit with the list of woods that are toxic......no mention of Macrocarpa or sumach though...Mac is hideous stuff and well common.
  14. Haha- i dont think steve ever slowed down mate:biggrin: He still has a dirty great merc 4x4 lorry outfit!!
  15. Jeez.....that is deffo the most expensive i have ever heard of....you can get to france for a quid sometimes FFS!
  16. Same to you mate. We are off out to a heavy horse ploughing demo later with mother and sisters family and kids.
  17. It should have been £14 a day for landy and trailer, but we had an arrangement with the ferry co and also bought concession books which made it alot cheaper. You want any firewood- i have alot....
  18. How recent was the change- i had a loler inspection about 6 weeks ago and he inspected tool strops but not spikes?
  19. Steve that is a beautiful view in the last pic.
  20. Tom you got any pics of the piston crowns? What was it running like other than the sound?
  21. John are you sure your not going in at the deep end a bit...? Have you checked stuff like props, cv joints, worn sus/ engine/ gearbox mounts, warped hubs etc etc as these sort of things can all create weird judders too? Just hoping its not what you think mate.
  22. :laugh1:Dave sleeps under sackcloth!!
