  1. Add it to the mountain i have already, and every now and then get rid of a load of it at once to a landscaper i know, and offer it to anyone who cares to take it away. Most people offer payment.

  3. Check out the Riko stuff that there is an ad to on this site. Timber Cutter Dartmoor has one or theirs and it is very efficient.

  5. That sould turn out soe beautiful timber. You(or rather your customer!) may even end up wih some 'brown' oak out of the lower end.
  6. Nice stick John. Is it robur? And can you educate me to what the white marks are that you close-up photo'd, and what are the FBs the remains of? I was guessing merip or armilaria, but am probably wildly off the mark......
  7. Darkey i have been thinking about this. I take it that you are unqualified as you asked that particular question? I may be wrong there, but on your basic chainsaw ticket you are taught all aspects of saw maintainence, or at least you should have been. If you arent then you ought to if yoiu are thinking of becoming a professional user, and if you arent going pro it is still a very worthwhile course, as it will save you far more than the cost of the course in savings at your local garden machinery shop. Just a thought.

  21. After the amazing service back along from Stein and F R Jones, regarding a stein that p-ed water in, i have just put my replacement to the test climbing in fairly heavy but not constant rain for about 4 hrs.......sorry to report that i am soaked through. Gutted.
  22. The vito is a much nicer vehicle, just not as well built as the sprinter. I wouldnt turn my nose up at a vito any day.
