  1. I was thinking of this for the crane on my lorry, I'd get a rotor from somewhere else. The crane will lift about 3.8t in close and 2t at 6m. I have little knowledge or experience with these things. What are the thoughts of the educated? Cheers Mark PS Can't get a link up on my tablet😬. It's under: Timber firewood log cranab 0.28 grab
  2. That MAN is a tidy bit of kit. If only....
  3. Cheers this is bit of a step change from land rovers. So I could keep the Nato hitch and use the existing pipes. Obviously I'll get the system checked before I use it. it's currently plated for an 8t trailer so in a year or 2.....
  4. My Bedford has a gtw of just under 25t but only had a ball hitch. Is there any reason I can't fit a suitable hitch (sure they've got a name but I don't know it) a 8t trailer?
  5. Absolutely class, beer came out of my nose I was laughing so hard. Wife and mother in law asking what's so funny...
  6. Looks good Billy. I hope to collect mine in 3 weeks or so. I'll have similar tasks sorting out the chip box and bolsters. So I'll be following your progress. I need to do class 1 as well (I've got class 2 from my Army days). Until then I'll put the chipper on the truck or take the land rover as well.
  7. Billy, I like it I should pick mine up in a couple of weeks. What GVW is yours? I cant wait to get mine working. Whst plans have you git for yours? Mark
  8. Hi Pete, Thats a shame because I thought that their work was quite good. I'll ask around, although I found it difficult when I was trying to find someone to do some carving. I gave up as it wasn't important for me. Cheers Mark
  9. Hi, Have you been to the heritage centre there was someone there who did the Gruffulo trail. Dedicatedly be worth talking to them. Cheers. Mark Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. So true. I had my none payer a few weeks ago. It doesn't half get to you. I'm away for a week so I'll call when I get back. Hope everything else is going well. Cheers Mark Sent from my GT-S7710 using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. Hi Rich, sorry to hear that, but glad its all going to work out in the end. You're message received strength 5 here. I'll try and get over for s coffee if you've got time in a couple of weeks? Cheers Mark PS I have some 'mates' who know the site....😀 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. £200 is far too cheap imo ,£200 didn't buy a lot any more. They look awesome. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Having researched this in detail, my understanding (still might not be correct) is that tree work including removal of waste is horticulture. So red is ok for Arb work , but once you venture into other activities such as fencing or grass cutting for example it's not OK. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. This time with photo😀 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Dexter mouse hunting outside the kitchen door. He's been at it all day since I took a rabbit off him this morning because he was tearing it up in front of one of my boys Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. I'm just completing my O licence application and intend to apply for an Interim Licence (I was hoping to post it tomorrow, but once left my maintain contact at the workshop)😣. Does anyone have any tips or know what sort of arguments they are likely to accept? Will a simple explanation growing business increased work load cut it? Has anyone had any success with apply for an interim licence? Cheers Mark Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Let's just hope it arrives... Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. Ha ha. You're not wrong i've come across one which does weap oil somewhere or leak water into the cab. Can't replace them though Sent from my GT-S7710 using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. I'll check the inter cooler and hoses tomorrow. The rocker cover is just annoying so needs doing. I hate oil leaks. Thanks Mark Sent from my GT-S7710 using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. Same problem. Bin and get the new husky combi can. Oh hang on there not avaliable yet... Sent from my GT-S7710 using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Cheers Ohlins, useful stuff. I'm going to chsnge to turbo as soon as it arrives. I think the rest of its ok - I check the oil etc very morning and it does loose a bit. But the rocket covert also leaks I'll chsnge that when I do the turbo. I'll have a good look around then. It's well down on power at the moment so hopefully the new turbo will sort that. Thanks Mark Sent from my GT-S7710 using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. I'm using a spiderjack, not sure how I got by without it, makes climbing so much easier. Can't answer for the zigzag though. My gut feeling was both are good bits of kit, if you haven't used either it probably doesn't make a massive difference which one you go for. Personally I went for the SJ because I could control the friction. Didn't really have much of a go on the ZZ. I can't imagine you'd be disappointed either way tbh😀 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. Sounds like you've a bit more work to do on this, but basically I'm in. See at the workshop in Brizzle in September. I have a couple of other issues to discuss as well on a similar theme. Cheers Mark Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. My lr just lacks power, I should have a new turbo on Friday😀 spannering after work on Saturday. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. I'd love that, but I've brought a TM so not for me this time. I'd Like to see one convert to a tipper though. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
