  1. I picked them because of the reduced water availability and higher temperatures in the city centre. They are both evergreen and the strawberry tree has attractive bark.
  2. Does anybody have any ideas of which trees would be best used in large planters in Manchester City Centre. In some places I am leaning towards Mediterranean plants like Arbutus andachnoides and Picea pinea. Other areas are too windy with a lot of shade which I am a little stuck on.
