  1. Probably not much help in resolving this one but always get the customer to agree the spe to whatever net/wire is required. Believe me I know the pitfalls as I sell fence equipment for a living. Threaten him with the small claims court and have your day in court if necessary. Best of luck.
  2. Had a good few saws over the years but I have a real soft spot for my 262xp. Bought it a month before my son was born and he is 25 now. God knows how much I've cut with it but I replaced the piston and pot a couple of years ago and haven't managed to get it to fire since so it's been left in a box in bits since then.
  3. Chris Simpson is a top notch trainer and all round good guy. I did a lot of my training with Chris.
  4. Hi, Give Mark Robinson a call. Not sure if he is still training but he may be able to point you in the right direction. 07702 276355.
  5. I attended the same type of demo run by FC at Falkland Estate and have to say I was less than impressed. OK they had 4 machines "working " in a forest setting but how you can ever make any of these machines pay in that setting is beyond me. You seem to have had more toys to look at.
  6. Stokbord could be the answer. 2.4 x 1.2m x 6mm about £26 & 9mm about £35 +VAT
  7. If you are still looking for a supplier try McVeigh Parker at Headcorn, Tel: 01622 891095. Free Deliveries for orders over £250.
  8. No, if you need one you get one, no probs
  9. Give QTS a call, just up the road from you. They may have a course running.
  10. 40tonne is overkill to say the least unless you have loads of knotty Oak and Elm. As Justin said it will be slow unless you have a big power pack. If you tractors hydraulics are not good you could always buy a power pack to run the splitter you already have.
  11. I claimed all my training expenses when I started, all be it 15 years ago, but no problems.
  12. I have met Jock Bryce many times and always got on well. I don't think this is the place to slag off people who are not able to defend themselves and certainly is not the purpose of this thread.
  13. It would help if I had read all your posts
  14. All that cash burning a hole in your pocket Jake? Here's one for starters Winch double drum 2 x 3 ton or 6 ton Franscard | eBay
  15. I never usually win on raffles but more than delighted with this. Well done Steve for organising and to everyone for donating prizes or buying tickets.
  16. Every bit as good as an Ifor, I had one for a few years, great to tow.
  17. I have to agree with your choice of blade, I loved using it.
  18. I don't have a UK number but I can simpathise with your problem as I have had problems with BT and it is always an up hill strugggle to get problems sorted. I am now considering leaving BT and installing satalite broadband.
  19. Blanked off EGR, remover CAT, remap on my 53 plate 130 TD5 all of which improved the performance. It can put a bit of black smoke out if you put the foot down but it has pased two MOTs no problem. I would do it all again if I had another.
  20. Stokbord, available in 6mm, 9mm 12mm & 18mm thick, 2.4 x 1.2m.
  21. Looks like you got the green light Jake
  22. I have to agree, sleepers and telegraph poles are good but volume supplies are again the problem. Guarantees are problematic and you are better saying "desired service life". We do sell very good creo posts which will last the test of time.
  23. PM me your details. I work for a national company so could perhaps do some business.
