  3. if i wanted to hear from an arse hole i would fart . if you think dangerous brians attitude stinks you should smell his moddle finger lol joke bri
  4. true . did you get to a toilet in time earlyer lol:sneaky2:
  5. i had just over 2 tons on my transit today and i still got 70 out of her , they do handle abuse well but really are not worth the money , ldv use transit running gear any way . go ldv
  6. let me know what corses you wanna do i will call nicky on mon and get some prices for you , she may well do them a bit cheaper if you do a couple through her
  7. hmmm lets fit it onto my cab star ha ha ha ha ha ha i should still be able to carry a bag of sugar .
  8. well said khriss:001_smile:
  9. if my aunty had balls she would have been my uncle , but she aint !!
  10. you cant polish a turd or you cant educate pork
  11. ldv winns every time . i have an 08 plate transit and im going back to an x reg ldv simply because it does the same job and i dont have to worry about it getting scratched or dented as much , it has transit running gear but none of the built in rus that a transit body has !! my 08 plate transit already has spots of rust on the chasis !!!! not good
  12. tell you what i will chuck in a tree magic for the Emergency climbing kit if it comes off
  13. depends on the drag to the chiper but when taking down a mac recently beside the truck we filled the transit lwb tipper to its limmits i about 45 mins using a timberwolf tw190, now my question to all of you - i looked at the spec for my timber wolf 190 and the spec says its mounted on a fast tow trailer -Q would you class 50 mph or 80 mph a fast tow lol
  14. carefull there that hook on the 50 ton crane your cambium is in may break even tho its tested by lloyds or similar !! if there is a risk of the cranes hook breaking or any part of the system then the risk of the branches we anchor on to in a tree have just got ten thousand times more likely , crane opperators are just as bound over by hse as us in fact probably more so . if it was not safe then the crane driver should not allow it . but the fact that cranes legaly are allowed to use man baskets would suggest different .
  15. get the welder out then lol
  16. i think i would stay well clear on the chainsaw training , however i would carry on selling them un cut timber, if your so worried about the risk it poses then put the price of it up , that way if they do keep ordering timber in lengths you make more money and if they stop ordering it then you can sleep at night knowing that no one has injured them self cutting up timber bought from you ha ha ha
  17. the lifting hook of the crane is in fact not meann to come into contact with the tree at any time , this is why if i get a lift on the end of a crane i make sure the snap gate of the lifting hook is secured so that it will not open and i make sure the cran hook in at least 15 foot above the tree as i can make my way down into the trees crown using my climbing line and back up line , surely if it was dangerous to do such things then the cane companies would not use man baskets either ??
  18. i normally branch walk out as far as i can and climb into the next tree or branch walk out and jump lol , failing that i borrow the groundies rope and install that befor i start my climb using a throw line , really it depends on the size of the tree(s)
  19. i am proud to say i have done a big pine bob my old fruit , how about you ??? hows things with you any way ??
  20. Ditto , if you didnt take these calculated risk's then you would never improve
  21. which stein is that in the picture ??? i have the plasma i thiught there was only one lol
  22. yeah i know mr picker lol my last post was not aimed at any of the regulars at all , im sure most of you have been on here way way longer than me and seen the fluent BS brigade come and go NOW back to the cabstar , what do you chaps think of the idea ?? 18 stoner's ideas made sence , my idea behing it is to try to extract timber from places a 7.5 ton lory of bigger cant get without having to ring stuff up to a size that can be trown onto a transit , by no means do i think for a second that it will carry the MASSIVE PINE TREE lol:001_tongue:
  23. tell you what if you manage to sell yours i will pay you a commision to sell the one i have as well lol:001_tongue:
  24. nope not me , and nope to the tree either , but i do know what you mean about people tlking crap on here i seem to read conflicting threads from time to time , like the how much do you charge thread and how busy are you :sneaky2: i dont feel the need to talk s**t , whats the point ?? a liar will always be found out in the end
  25. really sad news , just goes to show that mewps are just likely to fail as a rope and harness my thought go out to his familly he has left behind!!
