  1. No, Thermal gloves from ebay in packs of 20, the textile ones with rubber palms thermals are usually grey or day glow green. and gauntlets for dragging hawthorn.
  2. I get mine from Adams gas, about £50 for the bottle (3ft high one) and £25 for re fill, no accounts or rental :-). Also try air liquide
  3. I've been clipped by a buttress lifting out of the floor whilst felling.   4. I think they're the sane as most plant keys are all the same across a range like all kybotas of a certain era have the fat key, and the old benford dumpers and so on... If it only starts the engine the keys don't need to be unique and they're generally not.   6. I believe the bc150 uses a kybota engine and ignition, so will have the big chunky metal key. This ignition has a thin key. Don't fancy screw drivering it and I don't know what else uses the same ignition, if it comes to it I'll just fit an aftermarket ignition.   8. Lost the key from my 935i today with Perkins engine. Vermeer want about £200 for new one with barrel, even though I suspect they're all the same!   9. A series of filter bags and magnet in the holding tank, 20 micron 10 micron then 5 micron bags into a IBC magnets, very strong ones in the ibc. then use it. you can mix it with dino diesel, hydraulic oil is perfectly burnable too. the simpler the engine the better.
  10. Someone crashed onto my dodge in November, I was offered an aigo (sp?) as a courtesy car. After I badgered them into supplying one that is! I then argued more and got the aigo swapped for a hilux. The hilux broke after about 3 weeks and then got replaced with a 59 plate ranger thunder with all extras. I had this exact sane thing tried on nd when I expressed interest in a ridiculously cheap Bandit 65Xl on there. 2500inc delivery from one of the remote Scottish islands for quick sale. they said then the fake eBay email came.   13. I've never experienced any of the problems mentioned here with my 201 bar the slow pick up until the chain guides break in, which I don't consider a problem as such. I've used my old 200 this week and it's rubbish in comparison.   14. Velcro pads are much more comfortable for me than the leather ones, and i like my spikes tight at both ends!
  15. Don't trust the little branches and be gentle, they're very brittle 2@ inch branches can easily be snapped with one hand. Make sure your groundies know how to run the ropes well letting pieces run nicely and so on. on the plus side the wood is very light so you can cut and chuck huge sections.

  18. I find when working having one spike higher than the other and leaning on one leg helps.   24. Scraggs is spot on, I make it all myself ;-). I got the mix of black oil to 90% oil to 10% diesel. I just filtered the oil to 1 micron then blend in barrels and add to tank. Alot of people use it in lorries and pick ups in the US and it's also quite a common fuel here for lister petter engines used for micro generation and such like. Mt engine and pump were totally stock I used it in a 5.9 cummins with Bosch p6100 (inline) pump, the SAMs fuel also went into an old hilux and worked.
