Flicking through a year old copy of FJ and noticed an ad for a Bandit 1850 HD 18" whole tree chipper with remote control and less than 500hrs for £15K, seemed cheap to me what do these big machines go for second hand??

I was mainly refering to the eyes of the law, OK until you have an accident and injure or kill someone when your vehicle is over loaded!!

if your 110 has a gvw of 3050kg and not the HD 3500kg version your chassis and suspension won't be upto the job of carrying a loaded chip box!!

All the farmers I know are enjoying mega high grain prices and are buying new kit like there's no tomorrow as it's 90% tax deductable, spend it before the tax man gets it!! Bit of this current farming wealth might filter down to us tree cutters!!
