  1. Good job I did all the testing with the atomic clock! Thanks very much, I look forward to receiving the goodies!
  2. just testing, think AT may crash a 10pm, never to be seen again!! .
  3. You are paying for 32m the mog is just a carrier, about 2k a metre
  4. Largest Unimog cherry picker (MEWP) ever built. on eBay (end time 03-Nov-10 08:07:21 GMT)
  5. Cool swedamatic, is that blue haze from the exhaust or just burning oil off the bar
  6. I use them a lot, hat FM. Good for log days of log splitting!! I found you are better getting the head band type and fitting it to your helmet, better reception and the ariel is a lot more robust
  7. Who rides the hook to access the tree, is this acceptable practice, I do it?
  8. Yes they are all 750x16 military type, I find the 10ply rating copes well with heavy loads Never had a puncture yet
  9. A few more logs
  10. Looks like that was taken in 1953 with the sepia! Good load trailer is in pain!
  11. Thinks it's designed as a starting aid really as 3120's don't have a choke, just an extra fuel button.
  12. My Tirol Fighter boots took around three months to break in, after that they were mega comfy and I feel I could leave them on after a days work and watch telly in them. Good boots that last ime.
  13. Who makes a trailer specific to a tracked chipper, it needs a low ride height, short ish draw bar and low tail gate so the chipper can be operated on the trailer as you would a wheeled machine??
  14. I used to have an vw lt45 rated down to 3500kg, it was mint it could carry a proper load without looking bust! But loading over 3500kg gross you are still breaking the law which is OK until you have an accident and inadvertently badly injure or kill someone you could go to prison. Driving is a serious thing and should rate as a no1 priority on your everyday risk assessment to get your driving, vehicle, trailers and loads correct! But I know in the real world as with everything else not always that easy!
  15. Quadtrak tilting bed???
  16. That's a good price for the spec, what make is the engine?
  17. I think the groundie with his nifty speedy lowering was making him look good!
  18. Anyone know anything about the new greenmech Quad chippers? I note they now use conventional style knives and vertical feed rollers, I never really got on with the disc setup. Cost of the tracked version?? Thanks:confused1:
  19. Saves on chipping, auto burn up!
  20. Good climber with fast knot tying but hasn't he heard of the darting down technique
  21. Used to run one, it was a very fast machine and not for fannies, I found it so fast it was knackering trying to keep up with the rotations of the knife, because if you missed a revolution you had to wait for it to go around again, it was like doing a work out as you also have to carry half the weight of the timber all the time!
  22. Now that seems a good invention!
