Belts were tight it was stalling the engine, tried everthing to get it to cut smoothly, done a lots of grinding over the years with a range of machines, just didn't get on with it, found multi tip, green teeth and standard stick better. I'm sure if it was on a 75hp machine it would fly:confused1:
  4. Used this on a carlton 4012, didn't rate it, although cutters were sharp it was hard work and power demanding, imo standard stick teeth work better on these smaller machines, Sandvic for the higher hp machines.

  8. I am looking for around 20 m3 of woodchip, needs to be fairly dry and not to composted or green without to much leafy stuff, leylandii chip is usually ideal. If any one has an overflowing yard and needs a bit shifting for £, I can collect and load if necessary? Cheers Brett
  9. easy, open your filler cap on your vehicle and pretend to start filling, once you hear the petrol pump in gear redirect the nozzle to your empty cans hidden in the back of your truck!!

  13. We produce 1m3 every 20 minutes into truck/bucket/bulk bag with two men chainsaw and Balfor horizontal splitter 4 way knife. That's on good straight timber upto 15":thumbup:

  21. Sounds like a good setup, I would be interested to see a vid to compare if you get time, as I have the exact same splitter. Fantastic machine with the system leader controls, never felt the need to convert to one handed with this setup!!
