  8. About 32 cube a year in our old quebb that can take a 25 inch log!! Gunna go wet side with it for next year

  11. there should be an inline filter before the electric fuel pump, this often blocks, replace filter, open bleed screw on top of main fuel filter cartridge and switch the ignition on until you hear the electric pump working, watch for fuel spurting out of the bleed screw, tighten. Job done.
  12. As much as you can get £45 -£50 + vat Ash always sells well even green, stick your neck out, don't give it away.
  13. Leylandii burns very hot when dry, it leaves next to no ash tho so you have to watch you don't let it get to low, I rate it!! I reckon leylandii should be grown and harvested as biomass!

  22. I have been loading my stove at night sometimes with green or wet wood for the past 15 years and never had a problem with creosote build up. I sweep my flue once a year if I remember and never had more than a few small ash shovels of soot. My stove will happily slumber away for 12 hours. My flue however is fairly well insulated.

  24. Ok by me. Common place, take a look in your local church yard chances are you will find plenty old HC that were cut in this fashion around 100 years ago and still regenerating like gooduns!! Big question now is, should these be re-pollarded or maintained as standards in preference to modern arboriculture???
