  1. Do you still need to complete an induction course for just surveying works? I used to do a lot of this around 15 years ago when the qualification was CP8, which I doubt is recognized now, I attended a linesman school up in Durham.
  2. I had a 935 good solid chipper, with large diameter rollers which help improve infeed, quite a heavy machine tho compared to some euro chippers:thumbup1: The other thing I liked was the infeed was square to the axle so inline with the towing vehicle and not offset like most euro machines:thumbup1:
  3. if it's an oldish lux tip veg oil in, get to makro 20l drums for £20:thumbup: Metal drum so you can weigh that in as well!
  4. Take doors off and use an old tarp, it will probably be less drafty and safer!
  5. I replaced mine single handed spent thick end of a day at it, needed set of hydraulic pullers and used "The Dean Lofthouse Guide" for TW rotor bearing replacement, to be found somewhere on Arbtalk! Cheers Dean! It's been running sweet for the last few months so must have done it right!
  6. I think the TO could have discussed his thoughts with the contractor on the day and not been underhand and dumped a sneaky TPO! This could encourage contractors to cover their backs a little, all of which will degrade the professionalism, bad move by TO imo!

  15. Where can I get a Meteor 44mm piston for a 51 from? I have seen a Episan kit on ebay are they any good? Thanks
  16. Thanks for that, think it was called Mako, quality seemed OK, will see if I can send it back and get another!
  17. Help please, I am rebuilding a Husky 51 for a mate, some come with a 44mm and others 45mm piston, I measured the piston at 44mm diameter and ordered one at that size. The replacement received measures 43mm but the box it came in states 44mm?? The question, when measuring a piston do you have to allow 1mm more to compensate for the piston ring or have I received the incorrect piston in error?
