  1. I called nods missis as he is close by. Nod is away but his mate is going to check it out. Thanks.

  2. Hi mate, are you anywhere near Northampton? My mate has a big tree down sounds a mess, need to find someone up that way. If your interested call me on 07968741251

  3. I gotba td5 130 and love it. It's not chipped. Is there a chip I can get that will give more power pulley away and better mpg without trashing the engine?
  4. Is he the guy from the good climbing guide? Could you pm me his contact if you have it please
  5. Must have been wet if you needed your spikes on to walk on the drive
  6. We need to do some aerial rescue update training and I am looking for a decent instructer for a day. I would like someone who can go through standard rescues, pole rescue and srt rescue. Could possibly share costs if anyone else local wants to do this with 3 or 4 of us.
  7. For temporary platforms a suspended cable system on slings and wire rope works well, you can always use untreated timber or pieces of tyre to spread the load where the platform contacts the tree. For a permanent fixture bolts would be better. For the tree house can you build off a timber sub-frame? You will probably get a much stronger tree house that can support a bigger load this way.
  8. It's Sirius I'm using not liros. I'm happy using a pretty static line for rigging. If your just lowering get double esteron. If you use tensioning or lifting as well as snatching in the same tree I would prefer a more static rope and work with good groundsman when you need to.drop pieces into the.system
  9. Same here. That was a knarly.dead.tree
  10. I have no complaints with lirios. Cheap and it doesn't.glaze up as much as double esteron when your rigging big bit.
  11. I have the same truck but with a td5 and no.snorkel. She's a beast
  12. I had an old beat up L200 but quickly changed for.a.tatty old.cabstar. I recon your best off running cheap tippers into the ground and spending your money on a good chipper. Vehicles are nothing but money pits, but a good chipper holds its money and is relatively trouble free.
  13. Cool, how much to improve the map rating?

  14. That's a perfect job. That Joe guys a joker. So long as your client calls you and asks to prune her tree. You do that, she is chuffed, tree stays, you get paid then it's good all round.
  15. Hi I would like some advice on improving my google ranking. East Devon Tree Surgeon and Arboricultural Consultancy is the website. Please email.if you can help. Thanks, mat

  16. Might aswell, if you keep pruning it, it will die anyway. I won't even bother replanting either, that one will just die to at the of its life. Anyway, I'm not the best arborist, I'm just sad enough to film it. Check out my redtube too.
  17. I've just noticed that hole in the side. Must be one of those trees that are "bad". You should have felled it and planted one that is "good".
  18. Nice job majestic. Was it in payment for your caravans pitch?
  19. Well they went. One of the guys died last year (not travel related) bit the other still has all the photos on facebook. I don't know what the travel restrictions are but they travelled accross a couple other " Stan " countries, across afgan and into Pakistan. My mate is a white, tattooed, pierced, punk, so did have to dress in local clothe and did have to use local fixers to plan sensitive routes at times Both of these guys are not exactly orthodox and have spent most of their lives either travelling or living in Africa. Against official advice I have travelled alone in Colombia and though the casamance in Senegal amonst other less popular tourist destinations. People are just the same throughout the world, its a small.percentage of nutters and governments that dictate nations are veiwed. I for one will not judge a man's actions in another country. How many of these terrorists have had to clean the remains of their kids from walls.and.floors.after a misplaced rocket lands in their compound? How would.you react? If you travel with respect for people and their cultures I believe there are very.few places which you.can't go and have a nice time. It's not suprising that people who.travelled in uniform screaming authority have a different reception. My brother has been one of these guys and his exereinces of travelling in west Africa with a machine gun are the polar opposite of my experiences travelling with a surf board.
  20. In your world do you have a big garden with your large in-pruned trees roaming free? In my country trees grow over boundarys, get big quick because they are not natives, or.just get build on or right next too. Thats why there are so many of us serving the requests of the public. I'm certainly not knocking on doors advising people.that its time they had their trees trimmed. The guys who posted those photos were showing good work excepted as best practice. They don't need to justify their experience to some anonymous person who would like people.to.call him big Joe
  21. Bang on there lee. 2 of my mates hitched.and.trecked across afgan 4 years ago. They had no trouble at all and the landscape there looks amazing. He said the same thing, "not my war, so why not go see it".
