  1. got some nice big bits of cherry, might give it a go

  4. danny try (the northumbrian) magazine.. theres everything else in there,apart from tree services/climbers and if you know what your talking about (environmental sevrices) its not your normal every day reading, i find its the top noffs that get this.. give it a go youll be supprised drop some cards round mate, ill dish them out
  5. when the customers did collect from the yard, people turned up in saxos, fiestas, puntos, and ask for a dumpy bag of logs... was more hastle than it was worth.... i used to laugh seeing the customers car pull away with suspention like a f1 car... just to save £15 sharp put a stop to it all......
  6. do you not think the cheaper comanys are all one? look at bq ryobi/mountfield and mcullock have all the same parts and fittings?? mcullock and huskys have had the same parent owner just look at the new mountfield mowers with the honda engine... excellent engine>crap deck and fittings:thumbdown:

  8. i think stoves look better when there recessed into the fireplace. plus they take up less room...

  12. iv noticed the bags of logs on garage forecourts are getting smaller.. was at bq over the weekend, could'nt belive the price of there logs and kindling...just a handfull of logs and the same with the sticks....

  14. im sorry to hear about this, hope the beggers are caught... it is understandable why these machines are stolen...as iv passed loads thats left in a coned off area at the side of roads, while the lads are prob at the chippy at lunch time.... IF YOU DO HAVE TO LEAVE A MACHINE AT THE ROAD SIDE, (LEAVE A GROUNDY OR SOMEONE WITH IT) COME ON LADS (IT MAKES SENSE)

  19. cutting in dec-jan? wouldnt dare potter round my contracts on a ride-on mower. dont think they'd like the nice lawns ripped up...
  20. iv a hand full of contracts which involve grass cutting, today i was shocked to find a couple of contractors cutting the grass is it me or have the seasons come too soon? i wouldnt dare get the mowers out yet.. anyone else noticed this?
  21. alasdair it stinks, i once used it in a combo 1.7 diesel..(yard use) thats when the fuel was sky high.... the van did run smoother on veg oil but was stinking of the local chippy... if you intend on using it, make sure your injector pump is a bosch, as the other makes cant handle the thickness of veg oil.. i used pure veg oil no mixing.. all renaults can run on pure veg oil with no mixing
  22. dont think you would get a cuppa..... prob some lord of a statley home cutting back on his budget
  23. sounds abit dodgy to me.... prob to good to be true................. you pay me, you cut down my trees, you have the wood... (dont think so) suppose its one way of not paying a troop of tree surgeons to take down the trees....
