  1. as steve said, good fire wood but make sure its well seasoned before you chuck it on the fire.. takes a while to season i put mine in a polly tunnel for 3 months.. (force dry)
  2. i know it dosent stop the light fingered beggers stealing your gear, but would it not be advisable to engrave all your gear? more chance of getting it back if it appears on these auction sites.. just a thought!!!!! all mines been done

  4. Heres the pneumatic saw i had... Should of kept the bugga.. Its in good hands now
  5. North farm, just off horton road bebside in blyth.. Its the farm with the new flats on the corner.. Just up the road on the right past bebside tip... Ill take all chippings and all heavy cuttings.. Tip as much as you want thanks
  6. lads iv a farm in south east northumberland, where you are more than welcome to tip all your chippings and heavy cuttings free.. could save you time and some cash??? if your interested pm me cheers
  7. its nice to see old saws, wouldnt use them myself (due to the lack of safety features).. i used to have a pneumatic chainsaw with a 43 inch danarm bar.. it never worked, but was a nice tool to look at, and it weighed a ton.. ill see if i can get a few pictures from the lad i sold it to.. should of kept the begger, as it was a nice show tool..

  9. hi lads, seen an ad on tv last night.. its on uk gardens (sky tv) starts on monday at 7pm and is all about british trees... theres 2 tree surgeons that climb and dangle from some dodgy heights.. looks interesting so keep your eyes peeled and happy viewing ... ls

  13. mine used to get done by orange plant,,, there cheap as chips,and done in 5 mins and lasted ages.. wouldnt of took them no where else..

  21. i wouldnt pay £25 for 20kg.. why buy wood from other countrys? nothing beats good old pear on an open fire...

  24. hi lads, whats the cost for tipping chippings and heavy cuttings at the local council site or sita.. would love to know as prices will fluctuate in different parts of the country.. cheers:001_smile:
  25. the dumpy bags we use are 90x90x90.. our wood is sold by the bag full only all customers know the weights of all bags when full min 235-max 300kg.. if all had of read previouse posts,i was saying the max weight on the rear of the van is 1800kg, this depended on which wood was supplyed.. there is no tools on board and only one person in the van.. lol:001_tt2:hope this can be the end of this discussion... :001_cool:
