  1. we all have accidents.... sorry it should have read>>> careless times.............. hospitals should be signed as (careless and emergency department)
  2. its the composted chipped green that gives the soil some goodness.... wouldnt recommend rotovating woodchip into the soil to act as a conditioner or improver, as it can remove the nitrogen in the soil... making it hard to grow things
  3. farmers do get put under alot of pressure-sleepless nights(lambing season),harvesting-doing 2 days cutting in one day(due to the weather). there minds might be elsewhere???? its not only farmers that have accidents.... just look at you tube...theres no such thing as accidents... its called>>>>>>>>>>>>>> not thinking<<<<<<<<<<<
  4. gibbon, its best sold in the large builders bags or by the van load..to the joe public iv tried garden centers and the likes, they wanted to test the chips? and if they wanted to buy my chippings, then i would have to have them bailed/sealed and in a decorative bag... like the ones you see at b+q.. i looked into the price (cheapest way possible) and it worked out quite expensive and time consuming... then there was the price i would be payed???? wanted them for pennys.. go to focus, you can buy 3 small 70lt bails for a tenner...not worth the hastle unless you have 1000s tons of the stuff and the work force.. best sold from your yard in new white builders bags new white builders bags only cost £3..... sell your bags for £35-£45 then delivery on top..... pure profit best of luck mate:thumbup: ps dont mix holly chippings in with it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  19. wondering what price you lads sell your mulch, after its been stood in your yard for 5 months?
  20. yes but the people saying £140 is cheap... remember it was only a small tw chipper and not the 150 or 190.... the was no large vehicals >>>>unimogs etc etc................ only one man doodleing along at own pace and the chip was left on site ...... as said before>>>> if unimogs or 150-190s where used then it would of been a better price
  21. walkerboys if you had of read previous posts, i was by myself and using a tw18/100g small gravity fed chipper, the customers were domestic.. maybe if a bigger machine was to be used, as you say a (unimog) with a large chipper than i agree the price would differ...
  22. my quote my chipper tw18/100g cost £0 paid for itself 3x fuel chipper cost £15 travel cost £10 pocket £115 for 6.5 hours plus kept logs (to be sold) not bad for 1 man and small machine.. remember they where local
  23. for both.... done a few local domestic jobs where the customer has paid someone to cut down the trees, then rang me to chip them... chipped the rubbish and sold on the logs £££ easy money
  24. i charged £140 a day all chippings where left on site
