  1. dave it always netted down...theres only about 1500kg -1800kg on the rear
  2. josh iv had new trannys old trannys, and there just no good. iv always had to revert back to my faithfull 05 tranny it pulls and carrys anything,and is the best ever iv had on fuel...23 miles round the doors and max mpg 41.. and thats loaded..saying that if i was going to put the gready boards back on it would drink the fuel.. i never carry any tools,and sold the chipper... make more money selling mulch-logs and chippings than i did with the tree side of work... br log:001_cool:

  4. hold on..... so 1 cubic meter isnt the large dumpy bags???? or could it be the giant bags?? which are classed as 2 cubic meters????? im not missleading anyone. if you scroll through google (log suppliers) youll see that the major companys are selling there wood the same as me, in the meter bags...... wonder whos right?????? so we must all be breaking rules and regulations....
  5. arran woodfuels so how do you sell your log fuel??? cubic meters? trailer load? tipper load? bag full? hand full? think people are being picky now.. come on stop rocking the boat guys,, always thought tree surgeons helped each other out???? seems to be everyone for them selfs now..
  6. John there very happy with the service that we provide.. Iv never had to enlighten anyone.. We beat off alot of competition up here. And belive me,theres a few jippos around.

  9. slasher what bags are you using??? bags i use are these... the max i can get into a bag of this size is 300kg..

  11. come on lads .. lol... read the script properly.... the transit carrys 2.5 tonne. which is 2500kg max carrying weight.......... then if i load up with 6 cube, at 300kg each cube = 1800kg in total log weight.. dont like to upset people,,,,,, just had to put my point forward..
  12. theres def 6 cube on the tipper lads... transit carrys 2.5 tonnes. and if you where to fill a dumpy bag with wood.. each dumpy bag will only hold 300kg max 6x300kg=1800kg.. try it you will be supprised....
  13. well lads you need to put your prices up.. mines selling at £258 for a full tipper, (6 cubes) mind you its all ash.. peoples screaming for it:001_tongue:
  14. hi fred,, i would recomend the ms230. i do around 90 m3 a year and its the best one iv used .... iv used larger saws,and tend to find that they use more oil and fuel. not to mention cost of chains and parts.. ms230 for me any day... its light quiet and can be tossed around very quickly..... log supplier
