  1. Poor guy! Vertical speed line is my choice for dead elms if I have too with no pendulum swings. More often than not it's tell the customer the lawns going to be bumpy!
  2. It will be good, expensive though.
  3. Those guys are at the top of the game, the rigging is fantastic!
  4. Looks like a little angel ! I have a Border that's the same. We call her Killer Kumba
  5. Cool Beagle!
  6. Sign writing and work the weekends, then buy a Mog. Job done!
  7. Yes Tom.
  8. Also consider your body! Milling is brutal ! Sore back, sore hands ( winch will make it better I'm sure) You are going to break stuff for sure. Last milling job I did with the 2 ,088's I used 3 cans of Aspen for 8 cuts on a hard as hell big Butan Pine. I'd add £100 onto you normal tree cutting rate .
  9. No 3cx was just a part X on the 8 tonner. Sold it on. All the attachments will now love on the Mog. No more hand balling a 150 kg grab into a transit myself!
  10. Thanks guys, that will be excellent John!
  11. Pete if that happens again, leave the fuel off. Pull the brash out, tip her on her back and climb in the hopper. Clear out the crud like a spawning frog and pass it back, then roll the blades back a smidge and that will give you the last crud. Fuel on, choke and 1 chance to fire her up, then stick the blower down and blast it out. If you choke up the spout with a heavy wet bit, take spout off, get pokey stick and scoop out mush, obviously not putt hand in, look in the hopper and brush out the excess chip( always have a shovey brush on site). Then full throttle and blown down.
  12. Monsoon here until 7pm, then blue sky's and I reckon we will get frost tonight now.
  13. It's still standing!
  14. The answer is yes, your expectations should reflect your machine choice. Got a new Tow tug for the digger!
  15. It's a ballsey fell for sure! Stunt fell? Only if the customer went out and they had priced it to section! Those are the Rules! I didn't make the rules.
  16. Nice for the carvers!
  17. As amazing is that fell is, he destroyed the decking making me think these houses were coming down anyway, also I'm sure there's a Skidder on this tree tucked in the woods.
  18. Stunt fells must be un assisted, no diggers shoving, no ropes pulling! Stunt fells are trees priced to section out and take a day or 2, customer goes out, you look at the boys and give the nod! I'm doubtful of the use of wedges to be a true Stunt fell, Mike Hill will hopefully be along to verify!
