  1. Yes that's the one; how many screws and where positioned?
  2. +1 re echo. I must admit, I couldn't do it, Be a jobsworth that is. 'cos they're the only alternative :001_rolleyes: Are you harry who does good used turf gear? If so - keep up the good work - proper job you do as above, husky isn't the only alternative. Here's someone who sees the real issues. Me and Shavey and a few others have come to the realisation that S&H are history for us. Awful shame, but Echo and Dolmar have a niche here; solid reliable saws that are electro-free... BTW Makita is weeks away from approving Dolmar sales in the UK... more news to follow Echo and Dolmar (Mak) do and Dolmar, as above are raising the starting pistol... And MS460 was mine. CS-620 Echo, PS-5105, PS-6100 and PS-7901 dolmars from now on...
  3. If you have an I M Nail you'll know what I mean. Experiences, issues, problems ??? Cheers.
  4. Seems loads of people think Costa Coffee is good coffee! You gotta be kidding me! It's horrible; weak, milky, no rocket fuel in it whatsoever. They need to get a mocha pot and some proper fresh beans on the hob! Have the British beeen duped into thinking that's what even a latte should taste like? And they have the ckeek to say "saving the world from mediocre coffee". What a joke.
  5. LOL Cranab good strong cranes
  6. Second that. Moving house did the same for me last time I did; just too busy to eat!
  7. Riko will sort you out...
  8. Trying a smoke on paper-round aged 13 ish. Sitting on wall by garden belonging to one of 50 or so newpaper customers. Left cigarette end on wall and carried on posting papers. Fag end must have blown off wall into large pampas grass where I'd been sitting on wall. 30 minutes later when I'd finished my round, I could see all these cinders flying into the sky (now dark) and a small neighbours crowd had gathered as I approached the corner again; the whole thing was a gonner. Needed the correct pruning anyway
  9. Sorted thanks
  10. Absolutely bang on. One ernitiative after another...
  11. Yep, the choker chains should be put through the slots in the winch bulkhead and the strain taken off the drum but it's not always that easy. Leaving them attached to the cable means you can pull out stuck chokers between the ground and log. Got pics of all this somewhere... will go huntin'.
  12. The biscuit should be winch side of the sliders; it's supposed to knock off the infeed if it touches the sensor on the unwinder assuming you have one. Downside is it runs down the cable and does this before the timber is up to the plate so you have to run and fling it back down the cable! Think the sensor on ours in knackered now anyway!
  13. £35/tonne.
  14. Have used one and used to own a 500. Get used to it and trim out the forks and bananas right and it will pump thru material upto firewood size. After that, it's a bit slower. Chip throw is massively improved by keeping the blades and anvil razor sharp.
  15. didn't realise you had the unwinder
  16. Can definately help you with this; I've a number of 6000i's gathering dust. Not sure I've got any good coils if that's what you want but in good condition otherwise...
  17. AFAIK you hold down the outfeed on either remote for four seconds to give you freel spool. Instruction manual?
  18. Blimey; having to hold it in reverse on the trans when pointing downhill then; same here as the handbrake is disconnected - looks an easy fix tho. Not sure I can be bothered as the Bruunett is rapidly becoming unviable economically as it's a thinnings machine and simply can't get the wood out fast enough. Will keep the 578 tho - perfect for small volume jobs. PM me your address; got the manual to post to you
  19. For info. http://www.williamdartmouth.com/docs/Out_Of_The_EU_and_into_the_world.pdf More than just about money / economics though. Current administrations only seem to care about the state of the economy. Economically (if) prosperous but morally and spirituallly bankrupt.... hmmm
