  1. They don't give a damn about quality until it doesn't burn and they see the neighbours logs; the neighbour who paid more but lied about the price to pretend they know how to get a bargain. Same as with volume, offer them 1m3 at £75 or 1.5m3 at £100 and they nearly always go for the 1m3 despite it being less value; 3 figures and they leg it.
  2. Love that story. That cat was having none of it. Grew up with a ginger tom with the same attitude; he was the boss!
  3. Yve, could you bung me a quotation by pm for one of your 850 grab tanks BGT850 and the BGT850-TC please? Many thanks.
  4. Specs are rubbish. Merely comparing specs (which I did for years, pouring over every last catalogue data section) is a fruitless exercise. In the hands, in the wood is the only way. Thus you'll have to buy / try every saw to know. I don't think it will be 560xp firepower but will last longer. Much better than 362 upto 18".
  5. so it does, mine came off on day 1 too - lovely moto-x kinda noise
  6. +1; definately perfect. Blue blue sky - just beautiful on the hills and in the woods.
  7. Aha! You like the red devil then?! I was watching a 560 today and it is definately a horrendously good saw with masses of sheer poke and agree with troll (for a change lol) that it's weight and handling are lovely. CS620 pips it for balance tho.
  8. very few arbtalkers are going to say echo or dolmar. Echo CS-620sx for me tho because it works without fail and can be tuned yourself. The 560 is the least reliable of those you mention; yeah sure it cuts like a nutter, until it breaks down... Only a few of us on here have seen the light! edit: the 600 is no more, a few 610's left, 620sx the one you want.
  9. The smell is the high natural turpentine content - hence the rot resistance.
  10. I'll bet if you put the two on your own scales it won't be those numbers. Manufacturers figures are nearly always well off. Like bhp figures for cars.
  11. They truly are beauties. They lost a cheque of £8k and waste no time letting you know that you're now overdrawn and paying for the privilege. 100% Wan***s.
  12. 660. Miles lighter = more productive. Had a 390 - horrible dead weight of a saw. Smooth but my word was it heavy.
  13. 4.2 you mean
  14. I should have listened to you! Went with Natwest - what a waste of time; absolutely useless. They've lost cheques and are refusing to do anything about it, can never get hold of a business manager, meetings are just BS...
  15. Ok decision time: Fix difflocks or buy wheel chains? Both would be nice but short term solution required...

  17. not funny anymore! Any you know they're not anyway. What's the point?!
  18. Blimey didn't know that. I stand corrected. Agromaster! Masters of agro? lol.
  19. Bit naughty of RIKO to put their sticker where it should say Farmi
  20. Tons! Will get the camera out but give me a month to take all the pics!
  21. NFU probably best claim handlers / payers...
