  1. Not noticed anything down here tbh, maybe its just the new leaves coming through and some old leaves dying off?
  2. Im in somerset and might have some, let me measure up when i get home.
  3. Cheers for the heads up, hope they do a better job of presenting us tree guys than they have the last couple times they cover "rouge tree surgons"
  4. Is that a schielsing andy? or however you spell it? I hear there tracked ones are very good! Only used a smalled trailed one and thought that was very good to.
  5. Deffiently tie them up, as tight as you can! If your digging it out, dont cut it off as you need all the leverage you can get. Dont bother trying to chip it, burnings the only way.
  6. Looks good mate, i have a mate who does hill climbs on motorbikes. Not sure if he rides at the Gloucestershire track, but if he does i may see you there as im going to go watch him ride this year when i can.
  7. Driving me mad aswell mate! This volcano has stopped more immigrants in 2 days than labour in 12 years! lol
  8. My dad has had this trouble with Renault, then they take a lifetime to order them in. Ive been having to deal with Mercedes recently, (stupid van) but there customer service and service team are amazing! Weathers its just the fact that it is Mercedes, which i guess could be considered to be abit higher up than the likes of Toyota and Renault. There parts aint cheap though, but yet again i guess its because its a Mercedes. £200 for one injector!
  9. New injector needed, £200! With about the same for labour, fun!
  10. Discussion is good mate, its what this place is all about
  11. Dont knock it till you've tried it, havnt tried it myself but would like to! Are you a vegeterian hama?
  12. I live each day as it comes, and each day as if its my last. But in 5years time (il be 24), working everyhour of the day doing whatever it takes to make a living, and earn enough so that in 10years time (il be 29) il be set up on my own.
  13. Well done mate, now you can go out into industry and learn how to do it properly haha I remember the day i passed, great feeling! But dont let those bad habits creep in, cuz once you got them there a nightmare to leave behind.
  14. Well the bloody things stuck at a mates house atm, it wont start! Drove from my house to his, pulled up, turned engine off and went to the door. Came back no more than 5mins later and the thing wouldnt start, turned over but showed no attempt to fire. Fuel is getting to the injecters, but weather its passing through the injectors to the engine is another matter. Ive heard there prone to going and cost a fortune to replace. Plus i have never seen so much plastic in an engine bay, took us ages to get to the fuel system and injecters. So its either that or an electrical fault me thinks. On the upside, my mate live 2mins from the merc garage, so will tow it around there tommorow evening after work with any luck.
  15. Are you like me? Get a new toy and take it apart to see how it all works then struggle to put it all back together again? lol On the upside, the throttle mechanism all seems in one piece so should be easy to put everything back together
  16. Haha well spotted mate, my boss used to work for them out there
  17. Not us mate, we dont do motorway work. Where abouts along the m5 was it?
  18. Thanks mate Stripped abit of ivy on the way up to enable accsess to the crown, was abit of a PITA as always. Then yes, ivy was severed at the base.
  19. No offence taken mate, but its the best I could make of the situation. Happy to be crtisised as il learn from it If i was to have reduced the bit on the left, i would have done it differently. Customer was happy. Job done
  20. My First real attempt at a small % reduction, although this was still probably about 20%. No before pictures im afraid. I did most of it, the boss did the bit on the left which looks abit harder hit, that was because the customer wanted it away from the building as much as possible. Cheers.
  21. Quick attempt with my phone this evening, looked better than it turned out in the pictures. Also saw the sunrise around stonehenge this morning on the way to crawley, looked stunning! Put no pics im afraid.
