  1. A couple days ago an incident occurred at mine, I live outside of town down some country lanes. Anyway after making 999 call, there were two police cars outside within 3minutes and an ambulance in 5minutes. Seriously impressed and they were very efficient upon arrival. My perception of the emergency services have now changed
  2. Interesting replies, not looking forward to receiving the bill tomorrow. Flywheel, clutch kit, starter, service, fix horn. Ouch...
  3. My iveco daily is in the garage as we speak having clutch replaced, upon inspection the DMF is knackered, they offered two options, replace like for like or put in a single piece flywheel which also worked out £400 cheaper. I asked for there advice and they said it's been known for crank shafts to snap when using a single piece wheel, anybody had any experience with this? For what it's worth I'm having a new DMF fitted as I often run fully loaded towing trailer so figured it safest to do it properly.
  4. Just had a text saying not to come in till 8, guess we've a quiet day splitting logs as planned last week. In Somerset, more rain than wind.
  5. Right handed but can use a saw either way around, I'm always switching right to left and back again with my 020 when cutting and chucking so as to not cross arms. Same when using a big saw to chog down, switch to which ever is comfiest, plus gives each arm a bit of a rest.
  6. Run off generator, so as long as we can get diesel I'm fine
  7. Just spike up and let it drop below you. KISS (keep it simple stupid)
  8. Not really, its only a job, but can't see myself doing anything else. Would much rather never have to work so I could sit in the pub all day.
  9. Hey Horatio and Jesse, if you made me run whilst working for you then I'd sue you.
  10. If you do sharpen them run a weld along the edge and sharpen that instead of just taking a grinder to what's already there.
  11. Would wearing 'proper ppe' make him work faster
  12. No just been flicking through brochures. Have a dealer locally so may pop in and see what's on offer
  13. Been looking at these today, 5 year warranty, good finance packages. Think id be daft not to
  14. Had similar problem with mercedes Vito, knackered injector was cause.
  15. Abit of a random one for you, I know I should ask my accountant this but as its late into the Evening you lot will have to do. I am looking at increasing my sponsorship next year to a motorsport team I already sponsor on a smaller scale at the moment, in return I get advertisement on the team truck etc... Can I put this against tax, as its a form of advertising, sort of...? Cheers
  16. Been subbing for a new company the last 4weeks using one of these, in 7 years the best chipper ive used. Blows chip for miles and pulls in brash like theres no tomorrow. Having used the timberwolf, jensen, tp, vermeer, bear cat, id recommend the greenmech to anyone over anything else.
  17. My signature would just get filtered and id probably be banned :-)
