  3. Love to Jon, but stuff on this weekend, and it is a long way. Shame it is not on over half term, as i am visiting my mothers in South Somerset.
  4. That is one ugly lump. Judging by the large visable hole, you are not going to get a huge amount of useable timber.
  5. A crawler with a winch can not be beaten, they can turn on the spot which make alining the pull direction a doddle. Tracks also have a very light footprint, therefore mimimum ground distrubance. They are very stable as they have a low centre of gravity. For everthing forestry related they are a bag of poo. Get the lowdown from Porch Jon on here, he has both. Sent from my Galaxy arse using tupping talk. Check ALL the simple things first.
  6. You have planks of ash at the end of the day, you can not be doing too much wrong.

  10. I did it for two years. They are only small once, and it will build a bond that will never be lost. The wife and i are still part time, which means that we are always skint, but it means we get to see out children grow up. I would not hesitate in doing it again.
  11. Water cress Sent from my Galaxy arse using tupping talk. Check ALL the simple things first.

  13. Its not fair, there is no snow here Sent from my Galaxy arse using tupping talk. Check ALL the simple things first.
  14. A hearty soup, much to the annoyance of my groundie. Sent from my Galaxy arse using tupping talk. Check ALL the simple things first.
  15. I am fairly sure that the cyanide in Laural is not a stable compound. So as long as the wood has been split and seasoned, then the cyanide is no longer present in harmful amounts. It does make good firewood.
  16. Behold the mighty Nuffield, and home made skidding A frame. This should solve most of your problems for around £1000
  17. Sold my last load today. Horray, as i am getting sick of logs.
  18. 3-500kg depending on amount of soil and stones attached. Do you not kow any friendly timber lorries who owe you a favour and happen to be in the area, that could pick a few up and weigh them.
  19. Wot no lunge ! Sent from my Galaxy arse using tupping talk. Check ALL the simple things first.
  20. Oh god, its messy pants time, and i am still in trouble with the wife when i bought the Zetor. Sent from my Galaxy arse using tupping talk. Check ALL the simple things first.

  24. That is the most piddly selection of brambles, it looks like you can walk anywhere without tripping and cursing. Lucky lucky you.
