    The main killer for young climbers in today's environment is red tape . No rope can compete with that . Although multiplat is bloody robust and strong to boot

    Seriously though multiplat / octiplat rope is a real good climbing / rigging rope . Not overpriced and hard wearing . I know of a few old boys who buy there rope from the fishing industry . The combined age of the two old boys is 128 yrs old yozza .

    Multiplat was one massive step up from 3 strand I actually tried climbing on an old 3 strand nylon line maybe two years back ...and boy it was hard work . Multiplat is my go to general rigging line nowadays . Back in the day it was a better life line and more flexible than any 3 strand . Now its more commonly found pulling up anchors in the shipping industry . Value for money rope that doesn't kink when handling

    Okey Dokey time to set the record straight or even level ? My customers trees were subject to criminal damage and thats a fact . The property owner that committed the abysmal Pruning attack was unfortunately living in a new build which had been built directly behind my clients fence line ? Tis a modern day phenomenon ? People just don't speak over the fence / Hedge anymore . Seriously people ... especially you younguns have some banter with your neighbors . It works wonders

    You can grease my nipples whenever you fancy babe Yes in the real world /site work the young 360/180 drivers don't seem to want to do the daily grease duty ? When they do they kinda miss some important grease points ? This is me speaking from my observations of site work .

    Mountain biking now ya talking I love it . Although my carbon fibre forks on my hybrid road bike crushed / snapped when i hit a sizable pot hole ? It prompted me to swap them for a light alloy replacement . Side impact on a carbon fibre frame is not pretty .

    Some of those apps are rubbish . I for one would never want to rely on an app to save my ass however fat it maybe . If your in a residential area a whistle will suffice . If your unconscious no doubt a nosey neighbor will be watching .Trust me someone will be there / turn up . Out in the woods 100m or even many km from the nearest dwelling you need another man . That's a fact . Common sense again guys . Just make sure you get home safe . If in doubt get the winch out ......little felling motto

    Can you not just shorten the towing frame on an ordinary trailer . This could cause problems when reversing though ? Why not extend your chipper chute ..... lots cheaper .

    Some tree guys in France that I know always poison the tree before felling . They think this way is better as the tree is still actively growing and will absorb more poison ? 3 weeks later they turn up and take the tree down .
