1. Sharpen the blades but make sure to get the angle correct as this is very important . Also make sure the anvil gap is the thickness of a credit card ; )
2. A few small loads out to the fire pit brigade .
3. I was going to buy a ms150 but ended up buying the Makita 22cc top handled saw . Knocked the primer off on my second climb ? After I super glued it back in place its been excellent . The only reason I didnt buy a 150 was the reported problems with the attachment point . Oh and the price difference . Makitas little plastic clip ain't no better . Glad your enjoying life with the 150 . These little pruning saws sure make a day in the canopy easier on the joints and muscles .
4. Thats good news
5. Don't worry he will have his mask on :001_tt2:
6. Yes totally agree with your first sentence . Although one of my local TO will go out of there way to discuss ways and means to resolve any tree problems we contractors face . Its not Masterchef ? Ok if your were to burn my bacon sarnie I would be very nissed off . Just as much as if you cut my Conifer hedge and it wasn't level lol . Do it right or jog on and stack shelves ....... just make sure that all items are facing the same way
7. Surely your back home now stroking on the chute of a new green machine ? Don,t forget to grease her nipples
8. Yes life is to short to worry about such things although what about your children and even your grandchildren s future ? The country is to soft on all offenders . The Government has no stomach or even balls for tackling any type of high profile crime these days ? Oh and regarding immigration and the like . If you don't play fair your clearly a racist ...... not . . Government .... Cameron what a joke I bet he's still frightened of the dark lol . Im not having a go at anyone but clearly the country is slowly but surely going downhill sad but true If people stand together things will change its a fact . Just nobody sees the bigger picture these days . Most people are to busy keeping up with the jones Greed and living out of your means is off the scale at the moment ? Again Just speaking my mind and not trying to antagonize anyone .
9. Roz you are so right ? All of my local TO know there stuff but only one out of the 5 is truly passionate ?
10. Just you and ya Dolmar fella
11. Cool early July we have our local music festival on and boy is there a massive selection of beer and cider to be consumed Shall I warn the organizers to up the order
12. Eggs got your finger on the buzzzzzzzzzzzer there lol .
13. Cool report back please
14. They may be on strike or on holiday ? Just seems strange
15. Well lets hope there not in hiding and getting ready to make a move . Yes end of summer is and can be a pain when connie bashing
16. Sorry if this seems odd to you lot . Although in April this year my yard was absolutely heaving with the little blighters . Wasps in the seasoned log pile and in the freshly felled timber pile . Even at work there were causing the usual trouble ie getting in the way of hedge and tree work . I normally get stung by them ... its just an accepted part of summertime for me . So I thought we might of had a lot about this year ? I have only found small wasp nests this year no bigger than a squash ball and always empty ? No wasps flying round here ? Plenty of bees though:thumbup: Any thoughts people or have the dreaded chem-trails zapped them all
17. Pics when you get home please matey
18. Excellent score And by my calculations your lady needs a Makita DCS230T ........22cc light and not to powerful ....and its kinda green which will compliment most lady's outdoor clothing . Retailing at about 290 squid delivered . Have a good day whatever you buy . Oh stay away from that tongue saw as it smells
19. Well you need to answer some of my questions first . So I can give a real answer . A . How long have you guys been together ? B . How long have you been married ? C . Stihl or Husky ? Regards
20. I apologize for you needing to edit my post Paul . Just feeling a little stressed . I will be more mindful in the future
21. TPOs are they important ? ........... The answer is in the title . Tree Preservation Order yes yes and yes . Im sick of hearing that a tree has dead bits in it and might fall onto said property ? Stop building near beautiful trees . If you ever buy a house near a tree well tough you must of seen its beauty before you purchased the property ? They are very obvious and visible statues of nature that were there well before you wakey wakey . Why do people who live in the city crave countryside walks and retreats for fresh air which trees supply . If I had to live a day in the life of my local TPO Officer. I would be arrested . Sad how people can set a tree surgery business up without any knowledge or understanding of Arboriculture and Forestry not to mention trees and there relation to urban development ? Some of the Tpo applications are unreal . Sorry if anyone has been offended by this post . If you have tough buy me a beer next time we meet and I will gladly enlighten you
22. Hi there I have messaged you
23.
Hi there I'm based in Cheshire where abouts are you ? How much for the engine , what condition is it in . Regards Paul

24. Most atv winches will power in and out . Id buy a one rated at a 1000kg or a ton whichever you prefer ; ) some decent buys on the bay . Im sure someone off here has a big manual hand winch fitted on there ladder rack which they use to pull there wee chipper with . Sure its an isuzu / vauxhall brava crew cab ? Get looking Im sure you,ll find it .
25. Or simply buy a tracked barrow and ratchet her to it Drive itself onto your Hilux . Failing that fabricate a strong winch mount and fix to your ladder rack . The ladder rack will need bracing though . Some members have also fitted a trailer jockey wheel to there wee chipper which helps when moving around also it will stabilize if winching onto your truck . You will need a third ramp though . Mick Stockbridge off here has or had a greemech cs 100 and chips into his L200 . Might be worth sending him a message .
