  1. They do know this is pointless don’t they?
  2. Average age of an HGV driver in the UK is now 55. It’s pretty grim when you think about it. Game designers and hedge fund twats cream the big bucks while the people who keep the country running have been put off by crap pay and conditions. Nice one modern world, well played.
  3. I bet that was fun handballing 4” rings into the truck.
  4. I would say that last bit is utter bollocks in my experience Bob.
  5. I would cut the hedges leading up to November 5th. Invite the neighbours round for drinks, buy a few fireworks, and apply match….
  6. Agreed. Chip boxes on double cabs aren’t worth it.
  7. I would have coped Joe.
  8. MEWPs are certainly preferable for certain trees. Anyone who thinks they are preferable, or safer, for every tree simply doesn’t understand the tree game.
  9. More back-weight for counterbalance.
  10. Aye, go for it. If nothing else it will be a great learning platform for moving on to a bigger machine. And you could stick a heater in the cab!
  11. That will be the minimum I would think mate, yes. I imagine skinny tyres will be useless, but I need to see the machine in action first. Luckily we have a dealer very locally.
  12. Aye, I think big reductions are the first thing that you start dreading as time takes it’s toll.
  13. That’s what attracts me to the Worky Quad, it’s 740mm width. It would pretty much get on any job. Got a hernia op to finance first though. I really have done this arse about face haven’t I….
  14. Looks a really handy little machine mate.
  15. Similar spec to the Cast Worky Quad I think. 350kg and 1.4m lift is a lot of hand balling! Any loader has to be better than no loader! If you hate it you can probably claw most of your cash back as they don’t seem to come up for sale that often.
  16. In the UK?
  17. Started when they were 58.
  18. You could have recreated Agincourt with that lot Mick!
  19. Put some pics up, always helps.
  20. Aren’t we all?
  21. That’s because they’re useless Mick. I used to do a 25 hour shift down the pit before I walked to school every day (85 miles).
  22. There was loads of malice in it Eggs. Late 80’s I had a really nice side part long flick (Dr. Robert from the Blow Monkeys) which I was forever flicking when I was meant to be pushing a barrow. One day, ‘Bolam, get up here!’ Poked my head through a hatch, my head was gripped, and my flick was taken off with one blow of a hatchet. How I hated those bullying old bastards! For one second! Happy times, seriously can’t remember when I’ve been happier. You know the score Eggs, we’d be had up for assault now.
  23. Lend me ten pounds and I’ll buy you a drink….
  24. 🤪
  25. 🖕
