  1. @Unframed Dave do you see what I mean?
  2. Have you considered any form of training at all?
  3. Nothing like a krab Will. 80-90kg I think, enough to keep you in the tree.
  4. Exactly. Can you not just do this Jamie, and send me a tenner?
  5. It makes harrowing reading, and I applaud his stance in some ways, but a chainsaw will always be a lethal tool. Operator error. It’s harsh as fuck but it’s true.
  6. It’s easier just to learn how to avoid kickback in the first place.
  7. We just double up in that situation, like in the vid. Different length slings would affect my ocd badly when I was looking at my speed line kit.
  8. Joking Andy. That oak is stunning. The top of your workbench looks like that compared to the top of mine. Mine is made from the cheapest ever quality 6” x 2” white wood offcuts screwed to an old barbecue frame.
  9. For about 10 months of the year, not really. For the other two you will thank me one day.
  10. 10 of them with slings weigh about 2.5kg mate, don’t be so gay/such a woman.
  11. Andy is a total bastard. It is now a top for his new workbench.
  12. I’m pretty sure the TO has queered the pitch here, and removal at this stage would now be illegal. @daltontrees could clarify I hope? Is it in England?
  13. Certainly. Not advisable over targets or with bigger lumps.
  14. Only if you do them up….
  15. I start running my multiple harness course soon Dan, I’ll keep you in the loop.
  16. That’s a strange one Ben. So if you need to transfer to the tree you are then climbing in a full body harness? Whatever next? A course for swapping harnesses at height?
  17. IMG_4135.MOV
  18. Lyon 18mm 60cm. They are 25Kn rated. Don’t get 100mm, they will be a bit short!
  19. 👍 I got 10, and 10 new slings. Dedicated speed line kit lives in it’s own bag. Paid for itself on job one!
  20. I got mine from Skyland mate. Steel, which is important, 22Kn rated, and less than a fiver each. Foin Oval Steel carabiner - Screwgate SKYLANDEQUIPMENT.COM Foin Oval Screwgate Connector Foin have been making connectors for over 20 years proving their quality...
  21. There is a weird little cartoon man stood in the grain.
  22. Like Pornhub then?
  23. I think you’re missing the point Rob. It’s been smashed back like that because the neighbours hate the poxy thing.
  24. ‘and stuff’ 😂
  25. Not like you to think about questioning authority Mr. J.
