  1. :confused1:Seen a load of crossed stumps, normally done by diyers, they seem to think by doing this it helps the stump rot down faster and instead of taking 20 yrs is going to dissapear in 3 months:confused1: then they wonder why there B+Q special wont but next time out.
  2. Also said the dodge 500 on what they were based on had poor reliability and the MOD did up the 101 to last till the early part os the 21st c. good old brit stuff saves the day again.

  9. mine were like those of Ed's but fingerless on the thumb and forefinger, bloody good.
  10. You big scottish puff...................GLOVES hahahaha. Seriously Stevie, try a marine supplies store, i got some sailing gloves and they were good, thumb and forefinger were tipless so you can do crabs with them and there water proof and quite warm, lasted well too, about 25 quid ago though.

We did a garden clearance job last year in the village, big garden with dog bangers every where, He cleaned it up when we were there as it made him feel better, got asked at the end of the job to come back every month to keep on top of it, "dont worry about the price" he said i just want it to stop as it is. I went once after that, sh1t everwhere again,did an hour got in the van for a cuppa and i stank, crap all over my boots, trousers and van floor:thumbdown: told him that was the last time and never went back. i WILL NOT work in shite infested gardens.

  15. As has been said, i dont change, work a bit harder, shorter breaks etc but in winter i try and get wrapped up by 4pm so home and packed away by 5 my outgoings dont change so my rates dont.

  17. I use Saturn for the greenmech blades, never had a problem to be honest, most dont do the round blades so i dont have a great deal of choice anyway. Dont have a problem with saturn, if i had normal flat blades i would go to the tinnywold dealer up the road.

  19. How ya work that out then? that video of you felling a few days ago where you ragged em over with t landie didnt look very caring. Looked well and truely goosed by the time you lot had finished, supprised you didnt have stockbridge there in his fairy dress waving some fairy dust over the stumps to try and make em better again.
