  1. Can anyone ident this I ve looked at many books and can t find out what it is. It was on one of the branches on a Monterey pine. Another tree had some small yellow brackets on the main stem about 40 ft up. Any ideas
  2. I use keen ones when I go fishing abroad bought them about 5 years ago and still look like new. There great as the toes are protected which is great when climbing about on Rocky banks etc.
  3. I had a sequoia then when my gear was nicked I thought I would try the tree motion I found it to bulky and not as comfortable I sold it and got another sequoia. See if you can borrow one first as there not cheap and not for evey one.

    That size won't be a issue as I am a size 34 and it fits me fine all I can see is the belt part is longer.
  5. Vw Caddy might be worth a look but think about getting a pick up. I have a ranger supercab works well for me
  6. They are a great grinder I ve only hired them in the past but have had issues. The predator grinders are known for there reliability problems. Personally I would look at what carlton, Vermeer and bandit have to offer for that hp dont hear of so many problems with them on here. Depends on the budget I suppose get them all on demo and see who offers the best deal and machine that suits your needs.
  7. If it a small one your after I think the bandit may be worth looking at great warranty and dean at global is great to deal with.
  8. No more details on the quad he was to far from me to get a reg no. He's been in my yard and came up my dead end rd then turned back. Farmers have asked me if I see him again to call the police.
  9. Thanks for the heads up. There s been a guy checking out areas on a quad bike with a scalf around his face. A few of the farmers around me have warned me and a few others to keep a eye out.

  12. Tyres are like most things you get what you pay for. As for the chassis clean off the rust paint it then wax oil the chassis with underseal. Job done.
  13. My mate has just started his re bulild on his forward control it will take a while but will get pictures as and when it will be a show stopper. Best thing he's building it to work and I ll get to have a play.excellent.
  14. Back in November I got myself a ranger and so far I am very impressed and have bit of a soft spot for it. Was looking at getting a little van to run about in but after ins quotes there was not much difference and my annual mileage is very low so bought the ranger s far so good.
  15. I ve converted mine from a hi cap to a tipper. Can give you advice and maybe able to source some parts for you.
  16. My mate runs a dyna 300 and I think it's a great little truck holds weight very well.
  17. Meindal wood walkers I ve been in 4-6 inch streams and still have dry feet. Also there 1 years old very worn but still going just.

  19. Looks like it could be a combination if silver leaf and phytophthora root disease. If not both it would be at least one of them I bet.

  21. Yep there re branded as lots of different names I have the 3400kg one its awesome highly recommend. Spares are easy to get hold of too.
  22. Vermeers yellow jackets are slightly different to green teeth as they have two sides. You can sometimes get 4 edges if you move them either side of the cutting wheel.

  24. Saturn s good but they ll always be calling you tring to sell you more. There service is pretty good though. When i had my tw i was lucky picking up genuine blades on eBay at a fraction of the cost from dealers so well worth a look.
