  6. I presume 1 . I ve now been told that this branch is between 20-25cms diameter and that once the larvae has been found on the host tree it survives for only 2 years max. I ve croped the pic he gave me to get as close as possible. I ll contact him for some more as i feel this is a interesting find.
  7. I sold a chainsaw of mine on ebay to a guy who owns a woodland containing ash and oak. He was trying to describe to me a larvae that he found on his trees. I don t know location of his wood but he just e mailed me a photo over. any ideas I ve looked about but most dont seam to be this dark colour.
  8. Blew my budget completely(like i do everytime i buy something) and went for a new 530xl. Bought a second hand machine before and turned out to be something it wasn't. Replaced everything on it. Who ever gets my old timberwolf is getting a bargin and a great little chipper but it time to move on. This new jensen should make sense for the future and same some time in the process. farewell Timberwolf and hello Jensen.
  9. looked at the quadchip but the deal they offered was pretty poor and wasn t too impressed with the local dealers salesman. also did not like the low height of the hopper when at the rear position. could lower the height of the tow bar on the transit but it would be on the floor when connected to the landy. Its also a new design so would be good to see it about in a couple more years.
  10. can t afford to move not with house prices around winchester
  11. towing weights not a issue but i like to be able to move it about by myself when i need to shift things about
  12. i have considered a 190 but its to wide to fit in my garage along with the stumpy.
  13. I currently have a very good tw150 but have looked at a nearly new jensen and thinking of trading it in. This is because of the 6x8 opening= less sneading. its still light enough to move about. I do mainly domestic and some larger contract work so have no real need in a larger machine but as i know my tw inside and out do i go into the unknown. I ve hired them in the past and have been very impressed and there alot of them about locally to me. Whats peoples views on this machine ie owning and maintaining.
  14. Thats great many thanks.
  15. Ok can anyone of you actually give me some info on this fungi as I can t find much about it. Many Thanks.
  16. Thanks guys sorry for the wasted time with the photos. not very good with computers and downloading stuff. What can you tell me about Bjerkandera fumosa.
  17. Sorry about the photos just putting them on as they download. I think theres two differnet fungi at play here the larger of the two was from inside the wound and the smaller from outside.
  18. heres some more of location
  19. I think your right Bjerkandera adusta was on my short list but wasn't too sure so thats why i thought of posting it on here for a proper diagnosis
  20. about 15ft

  23. Ford F150 RAPTOR SUPERCAB - ONE OWNER - 9,000 MILES ONLY | eBay
  24. Hi I have a 11 year old 150 timberwolf and have had to do several repairs in the last few years of ownership. I thought I would start a thread for people to leave contact details of places you have bought your spare parts from. I know alot of people would go to dealerships but with that you normally pay a prenium. I know Arbtalk has classifeds for the dealers but if you shop about you can normally get the same parts or similar. I ll put prices down but I am sure they are likely to change so use as a guide. We can then all use this thread as directory so when a parts needed we all don t have to keep ringing round every where. I ll start of with Engine I bought new from Chris Woodleigh Power on 02392571360 £2771.47inc vat Hydraulic motors from Adan ltd 01205311500 Adan Ltd - Experts in Supply and Manufacture of Hydraulic Motors. AWMP 250s-X adan hyd mptor s/n 44679 £223.95 inc vat 12v Fuel pump from JG supplies off ebay Solenoids Relays Regulators, Fuel Water Pumps Injection items in Auto Marine Electrics store on eBay! £35 inc postage I have got more but will have to dig them out.
