  1. If you had a grand to spend don't do it on a Landy you ll be very lucky to find one at a good price. Don't do it unless your very lucky.
  2. Toyota dynas are pretty good for weight capacity.

  6. It's like wheel of fortune, they spin the wheel and give a price.
  7. Got my transit for 400 again any driver fully comp. they do seam to be the most competitive at the mo. 10 plate ranger supercab done for 540 with no no claims. I ve got my public liability with arborisk and they use Aviva for that.
  8. Forgot to say I am 30 with full 5years no claims.
  9. I ve got my 110 tipper 300tdi insured fully comp any driver for £250 with Aviva.
  10. Buy a tipper trailer
  11. I have only one issue with them the boots so small. Considering its meant to be a family car. I have a 08 Octavia vrs and its great in snow(go to scotland every winter) and I think its more practical and cheaper.
  12. I find cycling jackets very good got one from decathlon at the mo and it seams very good. It's very breathable and has underarm vents. They have them on special for £30 seams good value to me.
  13. I ve got a 1990 110 tipper last year bought a td5 130. Found it far to big for domestic work with a large over hang. It was a double cab had plans to king cab it and move the tipper body back. In the end I sold the 130 as the 110 was more practical for my business. All depend s on what will work for you.
  14. I did not like the height of the hopper was just to low for me.
  15. I looked at getting a quad chip from them but the offer and service was pretty poor from the sales guy, although he did drag brash for me to demo.
  16. Nice rob can't get much better than that.
  17. Thanks guys went with eastern counties. Thanks Jamie for that one.
  18. Hi I am currently working up this way for the week at my dads place anyone got any leads for a mewp.
  19. Have you looked at autotrader for ranger tippers there's a couple there.
  20. Two months ago I bought a 10 plate supercab ranger. Really impressed great towing ability and is comfortable to drive. Worth looking at as a option even in double cab may be usefull for you. It returns about 33mpg every day driving less when towing but so far I am happy.
  21. I had one bought a td5 one to replace the 110 tdi. Loved it but was too big and my dads barge had a better turning circle. I was going to king cab it and reduce the overhang but it was not for me. So sold it and kept the 110 even though its 23 years old and only has drum brakes at the rear I find it more usefull. I have a transit for every day work and the Landy gets used as a second tipper and for off road sites. Personally I would try one out first see if it suits your work( if you can borrow one that is)
  22. Morzine at the end of the month then to Chamonix in march. Happy days
  23. Teupen tracked ones are great I hire a 15m one and a 23m one. They deal with most situations. In the past have used cabstar mounted ones they do vary. I used a 20m one that can go under itself for bridge work. Found that to very usefull.
  24. What's your budget. Look at arb trader my mate has a very nice l200 on there not sure if its still for sale. If it is for the money you won t find much better I reckon.
  25. Bulgaria 50p a pint great weather and some awesome landscapes. And the women look great too
