  1. That would be great on TPO Trees on a sat That's strange to watch not hearing an engine, how far down did you get on the tree Barry before the power gave out? I bet it saps the battery once you bury the bar? I do like it though, I do very little pruning so it would not suit me but I can see the attraction.
  2. They are cracking pick ups seen loads in oz, how much is it going for? my hilux has been brilliant it never misses a beat. i was going to go down the 130/110 tipper route next year so i could do away with my tipper and 4x4 but had a drive in a newish 110 today… jeesus the driving position is horrible the steering feels off centre. so a land cruiser pick up may be better option. Does anyone know if they have gvw of 3.5 ton?
  3. Have you ever used it?? i would not bother because even if its free they will sell your number to muppets and you will get pestered with time wasting calls
  4. do it pete, drop in a fully dressed 5.7 chevy with the chipper side panels made of perspex that would be very cool
  5. thats mad money, if its not a tipper someone with a welder can rattle you up a frame in angle then just sheet it yourself.
  6. £20 a tipper load. £50 a unimog load
  7. …………...
  8. Seen a tracked green mech with one fitted. The vahva jussi 320 cranes are light and I'm sure would be better than hand feeding. http://www.roedkilde.com/Skovvogn_tilbehor.pdf
  9. When your thinking about giving it up, spend a few minutes thinking why you started, that always works for me, I could not be employed anymore self employment gives me a freedom that's high on my priorities in life.

  12. Nice video mate, good soundtrack too
  13. nice, that F150 would look nice with a tipping chip box.
  14. I wish all customers would keep the timber and chips, its a hassle taking stuff away.
  15. good luck to them, looks like a personal use crop. ironic how history changes, it was illegal not to grow it at one point until the tobacco giants pressured politicians to make it illegal. well so i read, I've never used it but would prefer someone on weed than drink when working clubs, drink always made them want to argue
  16. That's is stunning:thumbup1:
  17. That's a tidy looking navara, chip box is very well constructed
  18. I had one for years, they can block if the blades are not sharp especially on wet conifer, I shortened the spout and that helped a lot, then I welded a pipe on the spout to attach the blower to push the wet chips out, never had a block again. Honda engine is bullet proof, bearings are greaseable nice and light to push around yourself. Only problem I had was the plastic fuel tank burst but I got an alloy one fabricated. Great first chipper
