  4. Did i read that right? he got three years inside and whilst hes in he is banned for driving for 1 year!! do they do alot of driving in the jail
  5. i think it would be quite unfair to not let anyone in for being unfit at the interview stage, i would say let them go away lose a couple of pounds get some upper body strength and try again you will soon know if they have the right attitude, if they come back improved you have a keeper, someone with determination to succeed.
  6. very true i have turned down more than the odd one or two but i would not cast the first stone.
  7. My kids, they inspire me to be the best dad i can cause if i fail at that what was the point of anything else, its the only job i take serious.
  8. i do judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and during circuit training we throw the gi jacket over the pull up bars and grip it for pull ups, really works your grip, we also stop in different positions (mid pull) to work isometric strength as well.
  9. went the other night it was quite poor, the terminators are large transformer types and john conner is doing a feeble impression of Batman...ohh no wait thats just the actor, special effects were not special and the plot was as you would expect, but the nachos were brilliant as well as were the revels. arnie is computer generated in it
  10. had a cabstar it was very reliable but when it did break it cost you especially if it was dealer part as nissan charged like a wounded rhino, also worked for local authority for a wee bit a few years ago we had a canter it was very good to drive but the tipper was terrible, it was a scissor type tipper and was to close to the back of the truck would not tip more than a ton, i dont know if it was who built the body or if thats normal with canters.
  11. Some of these land rovers look proper good, ive had a couple of series 2 and 3s but nothing in tipper form, what will the 110 and 130 carry tonnage wise? and what size of chip box can you get on the back. cheers
  12. fantastic, thats the coolest video ive seen in ages
  13. you would get a £1 easy for that......

    first car

You will get a good small car for that money, a ford ka or a corsa as parts are cheap as chips, be careful though your first car is more likely the one you will smash as once you pass your test you then learn how to drive!! good luck.
  16. your right rupe i stand corrected, the way you describe is the way i do it.
  17. No bother mate, as rupe says its better if the the smaller of the two rings is the last to go up, on retrieval i just tie a stopper knot and attach the throw line to my rope pull the rope through the large eye so the knot gets caught in the small ring and you can control the decent with the throw line, saves it bouncing through every branch on the end of your rope and you diving for cover
  18. Its easy mate, cambium saver has 2 rings, put the throw line through one ring (saver stays on the ground) then attach the bag throw over limb and back to the ground, undo the bag and put the line through the other ring re attach the bag pull the bag back up the tree, saver flicks over the branch with the line through both rings at the underside of the limb, lower the bag remove and attach your rope, pull the rope back up through both eyes then have you lunch!! hope that makes sense mate.
  19. i assume you can set these up from the ground like you do with a cambium saver and throw bag?
  20. The smell of napalm in the morning Seriously though, the kids running towards you when you get home also not letting you out in the morning without wrapping themselves around you, to catch your wifes eye when she has been watching you and you both smile thats a brilliant moment. Wading down a river as the sun breaks throwing a fly line and hearing fish rise and nature in all its glory. training so hard that you cant get off the mat and testing your skills in a combat arena knowing the other guy is there to take you apart. a winter Sunday afternoon lying on the couch with the log burner raging the kids playing and the smell of home cooking coming from the kitchen
  21. mate that was a close one, hope it heals quick.
  22. cars with double 8" exhausts and a 1.1 engine racing about the place. tight leggings or shell suits on fat folk biscuits still in there packet in the biscuit tin people walking down the street texting (oh that really gets me i want to trip them up) 16 tellers in the bank and one serving whats the other 15 doing on the computer they cant all be on arbtalk traffic wardens
