  1. im sure i seen some pictures that looked victorian era in an A & F warehouse catalogue years ago, the work looked like it was being done in a large estate. they did have ropes tied around there waist.

Dean could you not just throw lots of tyres at the base of the tree in the drop zone and take the discs off with a vertical speed line on the same stem? i done it not long ago it worked quite well, as i was taking thin discs off i put a v cut either side of the disc so i could choke it with a tape sling then shakled it to the zip line and pushed them off.

    how much damage did you polish out the pot mate? very light scratching or medium/deep scoring.

    if i hear a squeek or rattle it gets fixed, that way the mots are always a doddle, i always have my road tax and mot expiring at different times though
  14. ive recently bought the 12mm Marlow bull rope (50m) from jonesie its cheap as chips and has performed very well.
  15. Great choice mick it cracked me up as well, the bit that ended me was when the brother said he was "training to be a cage fighter" so many to choose from, life of brian still does it for me and i must have seen it 100 times:thumbup1:

Fair points martyn, what age are you mate? i know i feel a difference from when i was 35 to now nearlly 45. my injuries dont heal as quick i find i have to strech lots more to have less flexability than i had 10 year ago, but as for climbing i am lucky that i work for myself and can price the job to take into account the speed i go at, i dont think i could climb for another company commercially. but that might be just me.
