  2. thats your easy night up in smoke then steve.
  3. send him the money in tenners and send him to the lap dancers, that would cheer him right up I think it may be better to ask the guy what he wants, if he wants kit thats a great gesture of giving him it cost price justin, but if he wants to spend more time with his kids give him the cash to spend it on them. As long as he is getting better im well pleased for him
  4. What of me slipping on a banana skin or the hitch? i dont have a picture but here is a link to it on the forum scroll down to monkey-d post. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/climbers-talk/10909-what-friction-hitch-you-3.html
  5. well done on the job mate and did you get your passport stamped??
  6. stood on a banana skin once i nearly broke my hip (being a bit older too) climbed on a split tail blake hitch for years then went on to a vt hitch climber about a year ago was really strange to start with but once you get the hang of it its great, i would say though that i dont use a vt anymore i use a howard hitch i like it better i also use a standard cambium saver.
  7. i was in it a couple of years ago but it was never great so left, but yes they sent the skirts along to get your add.
  8. i think you are right skyhuck possible more than the picture thread?
  9. thats quite a lot of blinks simon is there something in your eyes?
  10. Delivered my unfinfinished kit car and collected the money (could not find the time to finish it) typed up some quotes then went out for a couple of hours to help a mate bolt together his new ag shed. Had a sunday dinner with the family and done a bit tiddying up around the garden, now sitting here chilling.
  11. Machines then men to work them on minimal wage, i could then wander round tescos after getting a full breakfast in the cafe' You take your money and make your choices, as huck says tesco is successfull because they offer a service that most want. You can moan about how they seem to be taking over in some sinister master plan all you want but at 3am when you need some calpol for a crying kid they are a god send:thumbup:
  12. Simon that hinge one is well cool
  13. Good thread Mick, i had a good one couple of weeks ago went and seen the job he was the landlord of said property, told me the spec he wanted as a new tenent was moving in soon ( i rushed the job through as he was a friend of a good mate of mine) shook hands on the price, done the job a few days later then phoned him up to tell him job was done. he replied " i never said go ahead with that job, im not paying you for something i did not want done!!!) then hung up, tried to to phone him back he had turned the phone off. So ive had a bit of chasing him and eventually got the money through my mate who paid the debt as he set the job up, he says he will recoup the money eventually he was very sorry for the hassle i recieved. Never had anyone do that before but im like most i bet and dont do an agreement contract.
  14. WOW, Mick were they using a knife and fork?!?!!

  18. dont take any notice of that mate he is trying to wynd you up. LOL = Lots Of Love, you will see it alot around here everyone likes each other.
  19. a great cause there simon, nice one for doing you bit for charity:thumbup: Although i cant help but think Golf is such a waste of a good walk and is slightly worst than football and football is a waste of a park that could have been planted with trees.
  20. there is a bedford with crane and grab in the classifieds on this site.
  21. Whats the reason mark? You just want to lift more to say you can or get sronger? Or are you going for the juiced up mongo look with the two invisible rolled up carpets under there arms. Have a read through this blog infact go through the full site see how strong this guy is and his training methods, good luck with it RossTraining.com Blog
  22. i still think you are buying an abused one at £3.5k for a crew cab, why does it have to be a crew cab is it for transporting men or tools in the back section? Because you will get a better buy going for a single cab and a toolbox fitted if you dont need the extra seats. Good luck though as this aint the best time to buy a pickup, as everyone selling knows it is going to earn its keep straight away so the prices tend to be a bit higher.
  23. sun cream, midge repellent and a waterproof jacket. along with piles of tools that i may use one day, as marks says crew cabs rock:biggrin:
  24. I would say the guys at SAC in Lanark or Chris White from cut above.
