  7. i do lots of stuff i prefer it that way, im doing trees the now but im laying drains on fri sat then next week im welding in metal railing for an insurance job. My insurance covers me for all the work i do and most of my work is repeat custom so everyone i work for is happy, who cares what another contractor thinks they dont pay my bills.
  8. Lets be honest here it will be interesting to see if stevie gets anyone as just about everyday there is a thread started saying "someone help me find work" "i just need a chance" will relocate for work" "Give me a chance to prove myself etc etc " Well here is an excellent chance for someone to enter into the industry and work on a one to one basis with a guy we all know is sucsesfull, does a variety of work and has all the kit. I think the learning curve on not just tree related work but customer care and pr would be numerical and would elevate a young up lad further up the "arb" food chain than working in a large company. So good luck with it, also all yous reading and thinking "should i" id say go for it what have you got to lose??.

  20. You really need to have a budget mate. you can get a tipper from a grand up, an old shape transit or ldv there are plenty on e bay. If its just for weekend work them two are the most popular pick ups so spares are cheap and if you can work on them yourself there is plenty of second hand spares. good luck with the search.
