  1. We hire our WP30 with operator but travel costs might be a bit much getting to you.
  2. I only use one PC. Never use it in safe mode not even sure if it can use the wifi if it is in it. If it was PC based then it would happen on other sites. I would say that my use of the internet would be sub 5% on Arbtalk. The chance of it being just chance making it happen only here must be like winning the lotto. The MS scan finished & found no faults at all.
  3. Sadly you are miss informed. Whilst it is true you can register it as you see fit it is the use that defines what it is. Just like farmers cant use the tractor to do haulage or even go to the shops for the weekly food. So if stopped cutting the local parks grass (or other non agri stuff) after driving it on the road you will need it to be taxed, MOTed (actually inspected) running on tax paid fuel etc etc.
  4. Locks my chrome up as well. Only happens on here. Must be linked to Arbtalk in some way. AVG does not find anything. Running the latest microsoft scanner now, 9 hour in & not found any issues yet.
  5. Agricultural tractors are free tax. This is for private non agricultural use. Also worth knowing that dep on weights (over 3500kg MAM) you might not be able to drive a tractor used for non agricultural purposes on a cat B licence.
  6. I'm ex IT too. Thats the thread that tipped me over the edge to post this too.
  7. Is anyone else having issue with Arbtalk & it throwing up a page like this. It only ever happens when I am on Arbtalk. I have done all the scans to see if I have an infection.
  8. I would dispute that. Less air gaps = less air flow. More contact patches etc etc. Re getting more in its only about a 1 to 1.2 factor.
  9. 1, I live in a wood, we have no main gas, elec or water. 2, We were talking about deliveries. Why spend time stacking? No one will pay you extra to neat stack. Do you neat fill your bags or trailers?
  10. I have a life. I work to live not live to work. Why spend time neatly stacking logs when I could for example spend quality time with my family?
  11. If stacking I tend to only stack the front wall & tip the rest in so would need a rear wall or have to make a second wall. Better things to do than neat stack it all.
  12. Surely thats you doing it on purpose? It would never be used like that in real life?
  13. If using that rule make sure the wheel arches are within the max width.
  14. The speed rating is also about acceleration & braking forces that could be exceeded even without going over the speed limits.
  15. S = Static vertical mass in English Re the pin you would have to consult the maker. The car will have he same limit the tow bar the same limit The trailer its marked limit The ball might be different o the pin. I know of some ball / pin combo's where the ball is 3500kg yet the pin is less.
  16. Sadly I do have to work The 2.3m is the old width. Its more now (2.55m I think)
  17. Nose weight is the static load, not the dynamic load.
  18. Look at the specs. Never assume.
  19. Look at the S marking on the tow bar, tow ball, trailer hitch & car specs. You must always use the lowest one as the maximum. Roughly you want to be looking at 5-7% of trailers max weight aprox.
  20. I would also hope they have updated the TV definition from "cathode ray tube" lol
  21. I think you have ably answered your own question. The one you have missed is the location of the front cam. It must not be in the wipers sweep or even on the dash if it blocks your view of the sweep. I am fitting one to my camper as so many car get so far up my ass I need an endoscope to see them. It will be set up as a virtual rear view mirror. If its just for reversing then fit one that comes on when reverse is selected.
  22. MAM, axle weights are all legally enforceable. For some unknown reason GTW or maximum towing limits are not. Even odder is that the unbraked towing limit is enforceable. Whilst every driver can tow 750kg behind their vehicle for licencing regulations some vehicles have a lower unbraked limit as you are only allowed to tow 50% of your curb weight unbraked.
  23. Since for ever.
  24. Oddly the makers recommendation is not law. Would I want to defend this in a court? No.
  25. You can tow the 2800kg but the GTW should still be complied with by not loafing the van to its max. However GTW is not directly enforcable.
