  1. When?
  2. Yes since 2013. Its called an IVA test
  3. Use a vehicle not a trailer? Hydraulic motors on each wheel powered by bats or small engine? Hydraulic friction drive on to tyre tread?
  4. I have a little box on all my gennies that does just that. Like this one New 701K-AS Auto Start Generator Controller Board Key Start Module Free Shipping | eBay
  5. To far for me sorry. Unless you fancy a holiday in North Wales.
  6. Going on the recommendation of letting wood you are going to use in a house be left in the room for a week or two I would expect it to show signs quite quickly.
  7. Arrived today so top marks on delivery. I like the packet too. Should keep it in good condition till its fitted.
  8. Ordered one for mine. Will you be doing bars too?
  9. I have been getting this for a long time. I have reported it but fobbed off with it being my issue & not anything to do with Arbtalk. It only happens here & over the last week or so ALL arbtalk pages take ages to load.
  10. You can target your audience by age & other demographics.
  11. Did mine in 87. No restriction. They even sent me a letter asking if I needed to claim the full 12000kg when they did restrict it. As I was not using it I could not claim it as I did not have the proof needed.
  12. As with most stuff from the 80's & 90's you cant find details on the web about it.
  13. People with a paper licence had 12000kg on it with no restrictions. Sadly the people now in the office dont know what was legal in the 80's. They think ALL the licence changes happened in 97.
  14. Thats all correct apart from its missing that the Cat A test we took did have the full 12000kg & that when the change came in you could claim the 12000kg to keep it if you could prove you were using it.
  15. Bingo. We did have it when we took the test. It was then removed, well sort of removed. Teh cat were changed form the A we had that covered all the stuff we had to all the new ones. During that change they put the 107 on. May was about when I spotted I had a full Cat A motorcycle & not the restricted tricycle one I should have had. Now the restrictions are back on.
  16. Thats what mine shows too. There was a period that the restrictions codes were all missing. During that time I had a full motorcycle licence not a restricted one...
  17. Oh so now we have a difference of opinions. One paper licence checked online is still 12000kg & one is now 8250kg.
  18. That is good to know. It does not. Only if you move change name etc etc.
  19. The time to claim it was in 1997.
  20. The licence check wont flag anything. It just allows you to look at what points, full & provisional vehicles you are allowed to drive. Ignorance of the law is no defence. Its up to you to keep current re laws. Its been in force for over 20 years. But like I said I do not yet know for sure if a holder of a paper licence still has the 12000kg allowance or not. I was hoping to find out if you checked. They did run TV & media adverts re this. Plus all registered haulage companies employing drivers were notified so they could get any drivers to claim the allowance.
  21. Lots are now adjustable via the computer. I can alter the wheel size in the settings via the dealer plug in computer to alter how accurate it is. Currently I have it set to 3mph over read across the speed range.
  22. At the time you did have the chance to claim the full 12000kg.
  23. All campers now need the licence for the weight they are registered at. No fit its all good stuff.
  24. You cant. You missed the boat of keeping it years ago. My understanding is that you already dont have that allowance even though it is on your licence. If you have the time use the view a licence check system (you will also need you NI number) to see what it says & let me know please.
  25. Did you have to do the gear change exercise? You can still do it in a manual. Lots of trainers now use auto as they can.
