My brother in law just got the top of the range htc and spent nearly an hour trying to justify not getting an iPhone. He failed. There is nothing the htc can do that iPhone can't and is nowhere near as user friendly. Nowhere new as smooth to operate.
  4. I have a frame that goes under the front wheels and then you push it down and it lift everything right up, as if the machine is doing a wheelie. I'll get some pics at weekend if I go down yard.

    Best Harness?

Everyones body is different. Try before you buy is the best advice I can give. You may have to spend a long time sat in that harness so get the one that feels right on you from the off.
  6. Post it then mozzarella.
  7. I personally wouldn't do it.
  8. Cool mate. I'll pm you later on. I only want one though. My mate will print it off on a canvass for me. Any others and I WILL pay you for the priveledge. They are worth it mate.

Hahaha amazing. That just made my wounds hurt when I laughed:lol: unless he wore them glasses whilst sunbathing recently and has panda eyes.
  10. Slowly does it mate. You will be making a fortune from them photos soon enough. Are you posting them up on flikr? Or any other similar sites? Promotion promotion promotion. Good luck treetop. Got any contracts yet? Regular grass cutting etc?
  11. Those are 3 cracking shots mate. The web address through the centre makes them look very professional. Your getting quite a portfolio behind you now. Do you give the owners of the cars you card so they could potentially buy the pics? I would. In fact how much for the top one?
  12. Yeah, and like I said have space for 2 inlay photos on each month for 24 runners up that's 36 sold. Calender approx price between £5.99 and £9.99 that's potentially Nearly £360 striaght away.

Why have you got sunglasses on in the office for? Are you a mentalist? Haha
  14. Easiest thing to do would be get the crane company down to have a gander. They will tell you straight away if they can or can't do it. If you get them with full contract lift hire it is on their insurance if it went wrong.
  15. Yeah, nice smart, easy to follow site. Just one thing I wasn't struck with straight away. It's says you are no ordinary tree surgeons? It's says you are experts. It says you have over five years combined experience? That's only 2 and a half years experience each (for 2people). This is NOT alot of experience in any proffesion. Let alone one where the "experts" and time served veterans are still learning. Just my opinion? Also what is it that makes you not just any other tree surgeon? What sets you apart from the rest? I couldn't find anything on the site that explained this.
  16. You probably waste fuel slicing rings down to 6inch before you try and lift them on the wagon haha or You just haven't noticed any lumps with all that spread haha I looked down and saw a 7pack so knew something was up. Haha
  17. Helmet cam video is awesome mate. Love it. What was your best time?
  18. Yeah I actually think the sexy calender isn't the best route. However, just tree and fungi related will be like any other nature / national geographic calender available. I think that there is some fantastic, dramatic looking working photos already on this site that focus on the skill and proffesional side of our job. We are Arborists and this is an Arborists site and the calender will be aimed at Arborists or clients of Arborists. Let's promote pro tree care. I'm sure we could get the calender on the counter of every chainsaw / Arb dealership in the country without any hassle. I'd want at least 2. (workshop and home)
  19. Sorry, let me clarify. By ladies only I meant for the ladies only. I.e harneses and ropes covering up the important mens particulars. Muscles on display etc.
  20. Mozza is always asking for an excuse to get naked in his saddle.
  21. Dean might have come up with something there though. Why not do 2 calenders? One normal with work and tree pics, and one limited edition ladies only one, it is for charity. John Hancock will offer to do the pictures I'm sure and dean will spuf...... Erm judge them.
  22. tWas only deano who mentioned that. Think he was dreaming again hoping to have a different sort of mucky calender in his workshop. Loves men he does.
  23. Hahahahahaha. Nice one Mick.
  24. I actually thought about dong this last year and had a chat with steve bullman about the possibilty of doing it and the allowance of using the Arbtalk brand name etc. In the end I didn't have time to even think more about it but if you are serious about doing this one then I would be more than willing to help out as much as I can. My idea was for the guys on the forum to post their favourite pictures of themselves "in action" (so to speak), then doing a vote on which where the best 12. The winning 12 would be the main picture for each month and the runners up would get small inlay photos in the corners etc. Try and raise awareness of pro tree work, harnesses, helmets, ropes, pulleys etc. What do you reckon?
  25. I've got a few days bed rest so will be doing a load of organising and ringing round. I'll sort a colour online flyer out and sort a facebook page. Any more ideas or input much appreciated. Anyone wanna help just pm me your mobile numbers and I'll bell you.
